Rock hard firm
I'm the type of person who prefers rock hard pillows and mattresses... too soft or medium firm won't work for me. The reason why is, I suffer from scoliosis/TMJ/and migraines.
I was looking for new pillows and read all the reviews on Amazon and YouTube about these pillows. Naturally, there is not a perfect pillow for everyone... but when I put my head on this pillow, my migraine started to dissolve. I could feel the weight of my head being supported without caving in, and my hubby said I was in perfect spinal alignment!
I purchased the medium neck pillow, and my hubby got the extra tall or large pillow. I highly recommend visiting a store over online to match the pillow to your comfort level. I thought I was the large size, but the placement of my shoulders to neck worked better for the medium. I purchased a matching set to take the second one on the road for traveling purposes. It's that awesome of a pillow!!

This mattress is the best mattress I have ever slept on in my life. I can’t stress over and over again how happy I am. I decided to buy a Tempur-pedic mattress. I’m sleeping better than I have in years.
