At Tempur Sealy International (TSI), giving back isn’t a single moment on the calendar — it’s an ongoing commitment rooted in care, comfort, and community. As 2026 unfolds, teams across our organization continue to show what it looks like when purpose meets action — translating our values into meaningful impact for the people and places around us.
April marked the return of Global Volunteer Month, a cornerstone of our community engagement efforts. Employees across the organization were empowered to volunteer their time in a wide range of ways to participate — from packing meals to planting gardens, assembling care kits to raising donations, and the common thread was simple: showing up where help is needed most.
The Trinity, NC, Emerging Leaders team kicked off the season of service by hosting a bake sale and bowling night that raised more than $2,000 for the local Big Brothers Big Sisters® program — setting the tone for a month defined by employee‑led impact.
From grassroots fundraising to hands‑on service, Volunteer Month opened the door to meaningful impact across focus areas. In Lexington, KY, our teams partnered with FoodChain, an organization dedicated to linking the community with fresh, local food while educating people on sustainable food systems. Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to plant herbs and paint garden boxes before touring FoodChain’s aquaponics farm. The experience offered a firsthand look at how aquaculture and hydroponics can work together to conserve resources — demonstrating how innovation and stewardship go hand in hand.
At our Trinity campus, the month continued with large‑scale meal packing efforts. Approximately 400 meals were prepared and donated to local backpack programs, helping ensure students in need have access to nutritious food beyond the classroom.
Much of Tempur Sealy’s community work centers on supporting children and families during critical moments. Our Lexington campus collaborated with the Child Life team at Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Kentucky, assisting with projects designed to bring comfort and creativity to pediatric patients. Volunteers assembled toy cars, prepared journaling supplies, and packed care kits and baby shower items for parents.
That same spirit of care was reflected in our support of the Ronald McDonald House®. During an evening filled with food, games, and connection, guests enjoyed dinner and bingo before Tempur Sealy’s Emerging Leaders presented a donation to RMHC CEO Nate Graham. The continued contribution helps further the organization’s mission to remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children require medical care. Sometimes, impact arrives on four wheels. A truckload of 25 brand‑new Tempur Sealy mattresses meant that more children now have a comfortable place to sleep — turning a simple delivery into nights of better rest and reassurance for families.
This year, TSI volunteers partnered with the YMCA to help equip children with essential water and dry‑land safety skills. From improving swimming techniques to learning how to assist someone in distress using everyday tools such as a pool noodle, the sessions focused on building confidence, awareness, and preparedness.
Lifesaving care also came into focus when the American Red Cross visited our Lexington campus for a blood drive. With blood needed every two seconds in the U.S., participation can mean the difference between life and loss. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, the drive collected 26 units of blood, exceeding the goal by 113% — a powerful reminder of how one action can help save multiple lives.
Shared outdoor spaces play an important role in overall community wellbeing. At the new Gatton Park in Lexington, our partnership began with the contribution of the Tempur Sealy Tree Grove. As park data revealed that visitors favored a secondary entrance more than expected, TSI volunteers returned during Volunteer Month to help beautify the area by planting flowers and assisting with cleanup efforts, to create a more welcoming experience for everyone who passes through.
Across the world, Tempur Sealy teams found hands‑on ways to make a meaningful difference—proving that care and comfort know no borders.
In Germany, colleagues supported refugee families from Ukraine who arrived with almost nothing after fleeing the war. In addition to donating beds, teams worked side by side to prepare apartments, assemble furniture, and transform empty spaces into welcoming homes. The Germany team also continued its long‑standing commitment to local youth by sponsoring more than 2,600 backpacks for sports clubs, helping children feel supported and included.
In Australia, our Clayton team volunteered at Ronald McDonald House®, hosting a Baking Bee for families staying on‑site. By baking treats alongside residents, volunteers created moments of warmth, connection, and togetherness.
In Canada, we partnered with the Electronic Recycling Association to donate pre‑loved electronics to schools, families, and organizations in need. The initiative helped extend the life of valuable technology while supporting education, sustainability, and community access.
Efforts like these illustrate how volunteering comes to life across the company — through leadership, teamwork, and a shared commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. The collective impact speaks volumes; through partnerships with organizations such as Ronald McDonald House®, Kentucky Children’s Hospital, and local community groups, Tempur Sealy has contributed more than $100 million in products and grants to date.
As 2026 continues, so does our dedication to create comfort, care, and positive change wherever our employees live and work. Because at Tempur Sealy, giving back is who we are.
