The foam padding on the sole virtually disappeared after two weeks. I got two pairs as Christmas gifts, and the first pair had no memory foam left at all. I did not wear these slippers all day either! The hard plastic grid on the inside of the sole was all that was left under the velour fabric--not very comfortable. My second pair, also a Christmas gift, lasted a little longer. I think someone from headquarters ought to look into the quality specifications of the manufacturer. You're getting cheated!
I received these slippers for Christmas this year and was estatic since I have tempur-pedic pillows and love them. After one month, I could feel the hard plasic squares through the padding which felt like I was standing on a sidewalk grate. Two months later the slipper began pulling away from seam that attached to the hard plastic sole. I can no longer wear them. I have them still only because I am shocked that I only had them one month before they began falling apart. My last slippers I bought a Target and they lasted three years and cost less than $20. Don't bother. I wish I could get my money back but they were a present :(!
Possibly a defective product, but I expected so much more from these slippers, especially since I love my mattress. After not even a month of owning these slippers, not even with daily use, they hurt my feet. In the area of the heel, there is no padding, and it feels as if you are staning on very hard plastic with spaces in it. When you feel it with your hand, it is now just a thin layer of material over this plastic....so uncomfortable....so disappointed.
I have a temperpedic mattress that I LOVE so I thought the slippers would be great. My husband bought them for me for Christmas. When I first out them on they were very comfortable. Within a week the heel of the slippers lost all of their padding and the sides began to rip. My husband called and the slippers were replaced. I have had the new slippers less than a week and already the sides are ripping and the heel is losing the padding. I think I will stick to the slippers a Target or Wal-Mart. They are a lot cheaper and last longer. Temperpedic just needs to stick to beds.
Let me first start by saying that I love my Tempur-pedic bed. I was happy to see TEMPUR Classic Velour slippers and bought them as Christmas for my Wife. As of 2/1/12 I'm not so happy they are fallen apart the soles are coming off and the inside Tempur as flattened out. Its sad to say but I feel that I just throw away $49./Users/matthewcollins/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals/2012/Feb 1, 2012/IMG_0450.JPG
My son bought me a pair of TEMPUR Classic Velour slippers for Christmas and by the third week in January, one month after starting to wear them I'm walking on rubber waffles that make up the sole of the slipper. I am sooo disappointed in this product. I'm even more disappointed that my 20 year old son spent sooo much money on a product that I will only wear for a month.
The size description on the web-site here clearly states that a women's XL for the slippers is a 10/11. I received these beautiful slippers and the tag clearly states that the XL is a 9.5/10. I am incredibly disappointed by this because I am a size 11 and these are definitely too tight of a fit. I specifically went back and double-checked the web-site and sure enough ---- XL = 10/11. So, ladies, if you are a size 11 --- do NOT trust their sizing. It's wrong. It's an amazing slipper and would be super comfy if it fit my big foot. I'm very disappointed.
I received a pair of Tempur Classic Velour slippers for Christmas 2011. On March 16, 2012 I returned them to the place of purchase (Brookstone) due to the poor quality of the product. The memory foam in the heel of the slipper was non existent and the "waffle" grid could be felt on my heel as well as seen on the bottom of the slipper, which actually became painful. I wear my slippers less than 1 hour per day on average and rarely walk outdoors in them. This will be my third pair of memory foam slippers over the last 5 years and I have noticed a deterioration in the quality with each pair, this pair being the absolutely worst experience and disappointment. I will never purchase another pair slippers from Tempur-pedic. They had a life span of approximately 10 weeks as opposed to other slippers in the same price range that have lasted years. I would expect much better quality for the price from such a reputable company.
