I received these slippers for Christmas this year and was estatic since I have tempur-pedic pillows and love them. After one month, I could feel the hard plasic squares through the padding which felt like I was standing on a sidewalk grate. Two months later the slipper began pulling away from seam that attached to the hard plastic sole. I can no longer wear them. I have them still only because I am shocked that I only had them one month before they began falling apart. My last slippers I bought a Target and they lasted three years and cost less than $20. Don't bother. I wish I could get my money back but they were a present :(!
I love our bed and thought the slippers would be wonderful. I purchased these thinking for the price they would last for at least a year. They made 6 months before falling apart. I've bought some through Lands End that have lasted over 3 yrs. The pad sits on a hard plastic waffle support. The only reason I know this is because the pad ended up sinking into the waffle support at the heel and ball of the foot so you end up walking on the hard plastic instead of the soft pad. If the beds have to be on a solid platform shouldn't the pad in the slippers too. Too much money for something I'm throwing away after 6 months.
TERRIBLE!!! At first they seemed very cushiony and soft, but after 2days of normal wear they do not spring back any more. The temper material is flattened and I might as well be walking barefoot. For $50 they are no better then generic brands, or deer foams.
This has been a part of my first tempurpedic buying experience and I have been disappointed with everything thus far. From the product to the costumer service this company has been truly awful! So unfortunate since I was planning on buying a bed. Not now after the 4 pillows and 2 slippers I've purchased and truly regret throwing money away on. And I couldn't support a company with such bad costumer service!
I have a temperpedic mattress that I LOVE so I thought the slippers would be great. My husband bought them for me for Christmas. When I first out them on they were very comfortable. Within a week the heel of the slippers lost all of their padding and the sides began to rip. My husband called and the slippers were replaced. I have had the new slippers less than a week and already the sides are ripping and the heel is losing the padding. I think I will stick to the slippers a Target or Wal-Mart. They are a lot cheaper and last longer. Temperpedic just needs to stick to beds.
We just put in hardwood floors all over the house and I wanted something comfortable to we're as my legs were getting sore walking on them. I purchased these slippers because I have one of the beds and felt that these would hold up and give every bit of support that my bed has done. The slippers felt great in the store and when I first got them home. However, I have now owned them for less than a three weeks and the cushion is breaking down and I can feel the hard rubber crisscross structure under my heal. I expected much greater things from a $50 slipper. I am going to contact TempurPedic to see if they will stand behind their product and provide me with an exchange or refund. I will post my findings later.
The size description on the web-site here clearly states that a women's XL for the slippers is a 10/11. I received these beautiful slippers and the tag clearly states that the XL is a 9.5/10. I am incredibly disappointed by this because I am a size 11 and these are definitely too tight of a fit. I specifically went back and double-checked the web-site and sure enough ---- XL = 10/11. So, ladies, if you are a size 11 --- do NOT trust their sizing. It's wrong. It's an amazing slipper and would be super comfy if it fit my big foot. I'm very disappointed.
Everyone in my family owned a pair or two of these slippers at one time; I wore mine constantly because they were incredibly comfortable. I used to just love them & they lasted forever. About 6 months ago I purchased 2 new pair of the classic navy color--what a shock! The footbed is no longer removable for cleaning; after wearing them for one day they stretched WAY out of shape & I had to pitch them soon after for fear I would fall on the stairs & break my neck!
The sole was also pulling away from the fabric.
Why would a company that sold so many of these decrease the quality of the product? I will never purchase another pair of these slippers; however, if the company improves the quality & wants me to test a pair out--I'm ready!
I was given the Classic Velour slippers as a gift for Christmas and began wearing them immediately. Within a week the foam padding wore out and I am now stepping on the hard, uncomfortable plastic inside the sole. They also stretched out about a whole size so my feet slide around. I will not purchase or wear these again! They lasted a week and wore out! I never wore them outdoors and only wore them about 5hrs maximum a day. Slippers should last a bit longer than that. I expected so much more from tempur pedic.
