The Feel is Not the Same

"The WEIGHTLESS SELECT felt great in the store. The problem started when it arrived and I put on the mattress pad ( bought with the mattress and costing over $100 ) and the sheets. The mattress then became less responsive and way too firm for my taste. If I were able to sleep on the bare mattress It would be wonderful. "

Wonderful bed a true medium

"Thank you Glenda for your great customer service. This bed is great I had to exchange my other tempurpedic which for me was not so great. This bed is just right not to soft and not to hard. It does not sink in like the others they make which for me is great it feels more supportive especially since I have a herniated L3 & L4 disc. It does not have any gas smell which I experienced with my last one. I am a lover again of tempurpedic they do stand behind their products. "

Love it!

"I am very pleased with my purchase of the Tempurpedic Weightless Select (For context of the rest of my review, I'm a healthy person in my early twenties with no back problems). I love my Tempurpedic. I've slept on a regular mattress my entire life, and would often toss and turn because I was uncomfortable and my arms and legs would frequently fall asleep. My new bed is awesome. Even though I've usually been a stomach/ side sleeper, I can fall asleep comfortably on my back and wake up in the same position the next morning. The weightless select felt like the perfect firmness for me within my price range. I would have liked one of the ultra plushy cloud models, but this bed is very comfortable and good quality for the price. Also, it's nice to have a little more support (you can feel like you're sinking into some of the softer versions). It looks great too! Overall, I'm very pleased. The only downside is that I've been late to work because I can't get out of my comfy bed :) "

Very Happy with this New Mattress

"We have slept on this mattress for 7 weeks and totally LOVE IT ! This mattress is cozy, comfortable, and hard to leave in the morning. From the first night this mattress has been the ultimate in comfort. We wake refreshed, the aches the stiff backs or hips are gone. Know longer do we awake early of sleepless nights and jump out of bed because the back would hurt lying on a spring mattress. In the past our spring mattresses were plush pillow tops that became softer, lumpy and our backs would suffer. We decided we would avoid any soft or pillow tops and kept our selection of firmness to “medium”. Reading reviews, comparing mattresses we liked the two Weightless mattresses but found the Supreme to be softer than the Select. We also kept in mind the trial period, considering the Rhapsody but found the Rhapsody was a bit to firm. The only concern I had was getting used to a lower height mattress. I thought my husband who is 6’4” might have a concern with the lower height but never bothered him, my eyes have adjusted and actually have found this mattress easier to get into. I also love that the bed does not shift when someone gets in or out. The 0% sold us and the trial period was important considering this is a different feel from a spring mattress. After our first night we were sold and knew we made the right decision, it is worth the money. We purchased a Cal King and would highly recommend the Weightless Select. "

Perfect Combination of Comfort & Support

"After trying two other brand mattresses and sleeping with back pain for years I have finally found the mattress that works for me. The Weightless Select mattress has the perfect combination of cushioning to relieve pain points but still provides firm support for my back. The top ES layer is extremely comfortable and I have no pain in my shoulders as I am a side sleeper. The float comfort layer provides the necessary support for my back. In addition it really does feel like you are floating, more on top of the mattress versus the sinking in feeling of the other models. It does feel like a spring mattress in a way, kind of bouncy, but no pressure points. It is also extremely easy to roll from side to side and get out of bed since you are not sinking down too much. The mattress does not seem to sleep hot either I guess since you are more on top of the mattress. If you are looking for pressure relief for shoulders and hips, but firm support for your back, this is the mattress for you. The pricing on this mattress is also very attractive compared to the other models. The Weightless Supreme, while providing many of the same properties, was just a little too soft for me."

Comfort x 100!

"I have lower back pain and was very uncomfortable sleeping on my pillow top. My chiropractor recommended that I try a Tempur-Pedic. I was skeptical about this kind of mattress because I didn't want to lay down and make a hole with my body and then have to wait for it to pop back up when I changed positions. The Weightless Select was wonderful from the moment I laid down. It has super fast recovery and your body never, ever makes a hole in it. As soon as I move, the mattress conforms to my body. I feel fully supported and sometimes like I'm sleeping on the air. I awake with no back pain and feel fully rested. At first, it was a bit firmer than the model I tried in the store. But it softened up in a couple weeks and I can't wait to go to bed each night. There are Tempur-Pedics that are much more expensive, but not nearly as comfortable to me. I am so pleased I found this mattress. It quite literally has changed my life! On a side note, there is a bit of an odor when you first get it but it's nothing offensive. It really just smells like something "new." Actually, for me, it's become the smell of a good night's sleep. However, it's fading as each day goes by. Also, the mattress doesn't sleep "hot." I've noticed no difference at all in the temperature of this mattress and my previous one."

"We purchased this bed to replace the original tempurpedic delux we purchased seven years ago. We used the same ergo advanced split ca-king adjustable base, just replaced the old mattress with this one..The first night I felt like I could fall asleep and never wake up, it was that comfortable. I have had several surgeries on my back, and have chronic pain. I woke up the next day and was ready to write a rave review! I even called the store and told the salesman that this was the best bed I had ever owned....fast forward....We have owned the bed now for 30 days and the splendor I first felt has left! The bed is too soft in the middle and the sides retain the original feel of the bed when I first tried it. It sleeps hot, and it moves around every time you do. I feel like I am on a trampoline! The mattress is so light it actually moves when you make the bed, and after only one month there is already and indentation where we lay. I called the store where we purchased it and they said I could return it for a "restocking" fee of $350!!! I was under the impression if we did not like it we could exchange it for one of equal or lower value. The bed we think we want to try next is almost 2,700. more than the $3,000 we have already spent! I am tempted to just get my money back and try something else. For the price of these beds, you should not have to pay a 10% restocking fee if you are going to replace it with a more expensive bed."

Me First

"I was looking for a mattress for some added back support and had never tried Tempur-pedic. I must have spent a month looking at reviews. I opted for the Weightless series (the firmer model) because it seemed to address some common complaints - heat, tough moving etc. I really like the mattress which was a blind buy as I couldn't find a single review. Mattress is firm, keeps me aligned properly, is comfortable and you feel like you are sleeping on rather than in the bed. I can't compare it to their other models as I haven't tried any of them but it fits the bill for me - firm and supportive, sleeps cool and is comfortable."
