"I bought this along with a basic ergo base and the dealer threw in a mattress cover and two "comfort" pillows. Based on reading on the Internet I was expecting a strong odor, but really there was virtually nothing noticeable from the mattress even the first night. There was a faint smell about the pillows but it is gone a week later. I slept better the very first night, which surprised me and is kind of unusual when switching to a radically different sleeping environment. I think it is because I don't toss and adjust as much (hardly at all). I also am more likely to sleep face up rather than on the side or back up. The Ergo is key too... I raise my legs for a little while right before checking out and then put it down. That seems to send me directly to sleep. I used to do it on a piece of furniture and then run for the bed. So absolutely loving that aspect. I do catch a little warmth, usually in my lower back and gluets, but it is not uncomfortable; rather it is mild and feels great when I wake up in the morning. It is spring, it will be interesting to see how I fair in the summer. Like others have said, the only downside so far is the price... and the jump of faith you have to take that the system will last a long time and work out for you based on individual sensitivities. At least it is a great experience a week in and exceeding expectations for me and my lady. I think buying the ergo base made a big difference into how much I can get out of it on multiple fronts, including reading and romping. My rating on value is just a 3 as only time will tell."

"I first purchased a Cloud Luxe and it seemed to be the right choice for pressure points. I have been seeing a chiropractor since October because of a mis-aligned pelvis and hip. In the Cloud-luxe (which is a beautiful mattress) I ended up feeling like I was sleeping "in" the mattress rather than on it. The local store helped me work out an exchange after 30 days on that bed. I got the Rhapsody Breeze because it seems I need the extra support of a medium-firm mattress. While I tossed and turned on the Cloud-Luxe for nearly two weeks and awoke with a sore lumbar area, I slept soundly on the Rhapsody Breeze immediately-no stiffness or soreness! As to complaints about the Breeze part not working, I remain neutral about the complaint. I had to do my homework on this, but it was worth it. The only down to this purchase is that the local retailer could only provide one year of interest free credit rather than the extended credit available directly at Tempurpedic. I am female, 5'7" and about 140 for anyone interested. "

"I have wanted a Tempur-pedic bed forever. The problem was my husband didn't think he would like it. We had always slept on a Stearns and Foster mattress and while we thought they were comfortable, we always had a problem with night sweats. We finally took the plunge and got a split king Rhapsody Breeze. We have only slept on it two nights, but absolutely LOVE it and the only problem now is neither of us wants to get out of bed in the morning. The mattress has the perfect support for both of us and neither of us has had any night sweats at all. We did get the bamboo sheets Tempur-pedic offers and that may help, but to go two nights without any hint of heat or sweat is unbelievable. My husband is now saying he wishes he had tried Tempur-pedic earlier since he loves it as much as I do. I could go on and on, but I'd rather go back to bed!!! ;)"

"We have slept on the Rhapsody Breeze for 6 nights we love it. The hope is years from now we don't sink to the middle, and it keeps the firmness we paid for. The smell is very strong at first but now we don't notice it, very faint. Me and my wife both are over 200 lbs and Im a heat machine and the first night I was worried of being too cold but even with a goose down comforter the temp is perfect. I was shocked we spent that much on a bed, but so far we are very pleased with the good night sleep, and it was worth it!"
"My wife and I previously owned an original mattress factory latex foam bed. We loved it for a couple of years and then it went soft and we rolled into each other every night. Trying to rectify that issue we spent the $5,000 for this bed and figured it would be a better built, firmer mattress with more than a two year longevity. Well it's built like a rock, and seems that will never change. We were told to walk and crawl on the bed to "break it in" so I let my two toddlers jump on it with us every day for a couple weeks. No change. We wake up feeling sore, and like idiots for paying to feel this way. That's just the start, you'd think jumping would loosen it up, if that didn't work then the sweat from my body every night surely would do the trick! NOPE. "BREEZE" they say... We had a latex foam which was hot but didn't have any advertisements suggesting otherwise. This bed is far, far hotter than the last one. We live in Florida and we set the AC to 69 when we sleep, after being hot all day the cool house feels great, until you sleep on the surface of the sun with this bed. We sent it back and have ordered the iSerta prodigy set. Much better reviews, half the price. Excited to get rid of this boulder, get $2600 back, an extra 5 years of warranty, and get some dang sleep."

"I have been thru 7 mattresses in the past 2 years and all were defective. I've slept on every bed in the store and finally decided to try the tempurpedic phapsody breeze. All the other mattresses were very hot and I would actually sweat and sleep without blankets. I've been sleeping only 2 nights on this mattress and I have to say I think I hit the jackpot. I sleep great...I wake up feeling better with less back pains and most importantly I am not pouring sweat all night. Thusfar I love it!!"
"We purchased a king Rhapsody Breeze set to replace our 10 year old Tempur-Pedic king set one month ago. We purchased this set because of its promises of keeping you cooler while you slept. Not so. We find the Rhapsody Breeze to be just as hot-sleeping as our old set. Really disappointed about this new feature. It will feel cool at first touch, but after only a minute or so it is hot. The mattress itself is fine, but don't waste your money on this model if you are looking for "a cooler sleeping" bed."
"This mattress is a waste of money. It is hard as a rock, smells horrible, and the worse part is the return process. Tempurpedic is the most unprofessional business. The company lost my return claim for three weeks and then called to tell me they put me in a pile and forgot about me. After three weeks of calling and being promised a return phone call within24-48 hours I never received such a thing. I'd much rather recommend Simmons. Honestly buying a Tempurpedic was the worse decision I have ever made and I will never recommend any products. "
"I have been sleeping on the TEMPUR-Rhapsody Breeze for about a month and it absolutely does not function as advertised. I bought it from The Healthy Back Store and have not had a full night's sleep, or even a good night's sleep, since it was delivered. It does not sleep cool - it's an INFERNO! I absolutely hate it. It starts out cool, but within 15-20 minutes it begins to heat up and the area I'm sleeping on becomes intolerably hot. I wake up multiple times each night because I'm too hot to sleep and I have to search for another cool spot to sleep on. However, my body heat seems to get trapped within the surface of the mattress and as the night wears on cool spots become increasingly difficult to find. I want my old mattress back! At least with it, I slept soundly through the night. Now I'm too hot to sleep. I was really looking forward to receiving this mattress but sadly it's a hot mess. I called Tempurpedic to see if perhaps I received a defective mattress, since it does not seem to function as advertised. The customer service rep merely read the website hype to me and said they have received no complaints and that I should return the mattress if I didn't want it. He was, however, unable to help me discern if my mattress is defective and was, therefore, of no assistance whatsoever. "

"I cant say enough about this bed. We Love It! It took about 2 weeks to break it in and it still has that new Tempur-Pedic smell, (though not as strong) but now I can not imagine going back and sleeping on anything else. I love this bed, and I now I truly believe you can not put a price on the best sleep available. When my husband and I went to buy our tempur-pedic the Rhapsody was our favorite, and when we saw that we could get one that claims to sleep cooler we ordered the breeze. I tend to always be cold and sleep under the weight of a heavy down comforter, but my husband is a living furnace. Though we cant say if the breeze actually sleep cooler than the regular Rhapsody, I can tell you that we still sleep under the warmth of my down comforter. I recommend this bed to anyone who needs a good supportive bed. I was a little stiff after the first night but my posture felt so much better. After the 3rd night I had adjusted to it.. Now my problem is I never want to leave it..."

"I've always been a fan of Tempurpedic sleep systems, but ultimately shied away from making the investment as i'm a card-carrying hot sleeper. The Rhapsody Breeze is the answer. The first nite i stopped shifting in search of a cooler spot. No more pressure points. If you are on the fence as i was...and the only issue is heat...i strongly recommend looking further at the Breeze options. "
