I finally found the perfect bed

"We tried the cloud luxe and thought I was heaven for about a month, then not. It was so soft I felt I sank almost to the floor and developed nasty back pain. Next we tried the allura for a month and it seemed to get harder and harder. Next came the cloud supreme that seemed like it would be fine. 6 months later it became mushy feeling with no support. So I tried a top pillow and in 2 weeks had a large indentation in it. Soooo I am trying the contour signature. I feel like I am in heaven again. My husband likes it also. It's only been a week. I'll add to this in a few weeks. "

"BOUGHT THE TEMPUR-CONTOUR SIGNATURE ABOUT A WEEK AGO AND I'M ALREADY EXCHANGING IT, THIS MATTRESS RETAINS YOUR BODY HEAT TO THE POINT THAT IT MAKES IT VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO SLEEP AND I KEEP MY AC AT 71-72F. LOOKING FORWARD TO GET A CLOUD SUPREME BREEZE."

Why Did I Wait??!!

"Before I bought my Temper-Contour Signature mattress I had to go to bed each night using a heating pad for my hip and after taking both Tylenol and Motrin for my back. And I still could not sleep more than 3 hours without pain. After only 3 days with the Temper - Contour mattress the heating pad now resides in the closet and the meds stay in the bottles. I wish I would not of waited so long to get this mattress - it is amazing how I can now sleep 7-8 hours with no interruptions, no tossing and turning and no pain. I should of bought this years ago! I am never giving up this mattress!"

No neck pain and back pain

"Before getting a TP Contour Signature, I had a neck and back pain that I went to see my Chiropractor twice a week. After one week sleeping on TP, my neck and back pain disappear totally. I also feel refreshed each day when I wake up and I truly have a resful sleep on my TP. "

"Just woke up from first night on Contour Signature. Absolutely amazing! I woke up 30 minutes before my alarm, completely refreshed and without all the moaning and groaning that my wife has been enjoying for years. If I were a rich guy, I would send Tempurpedic some more money. It's worth way more than the price. Also, since I am not a rich guy, the 48-month no-interest financing made the sale. Thanks Tempurpedic! Dave"

Money well spent

"Before getting this bed less than two weeks ago my fiancee would have back pain and not sleep well at all; I would get pain in the hips and shoulders on our old spring mattress set. Now neither one of us has pain and he sleeps well every night. Loved this bed from the first night we got it and it's only getting better."

Very hot and terrible outgassing issue

"The bed is very comfortable when you lie on it for short periods of time, but it has two serious flaws. First, the fumes it gives off for the first few weeks are overwhelming and they make me feel sick. It's hard to believe that the fumes are non-toxic as the company states. Second, the mattress conducts heat very poorly so I wake up many times a night feeling too hot and have to move around to find a cool spot on the mattress."

"I currently have the Tempurpedic Deluxe(Discontinued. I purchased it in 2007 under the advice of one of my many Doctors. I am upgrading to the Tempur-Contour Signature. It is by far the best bed I have ever slept on.I have a rare bone disease(OI)and also have had several fractures and more surgeries than I care to count.I wondered why I never got a good nights sleep and always awoke the next morning hurting worse than I did when I went to bed owning a traditional mattress. Tempurpedic saved my life! I have never slept better and my pain has considerably decreased. I now awake every morning feeling refreshed and basically pain free.!! Thank God for Tempurpedic!! I want to say to everyone that is involved in the making,selling,shipping of a Tempurpedic ALL OF YOU ROCK!! "

"At first I was skeptical paying so much for a mattress. Then I concluded that you spend a third of you life in bed assuming you sleep 8 hrs per day and sleep is truly priceless, especially with a new baby. I put a fan on it and opened the windows while my wife and I walked all over it to alleviate some of the initial stench the mattress emits. We didn't even sleep on it nor put sheets on it until the third night. It took a few nights to get use to the mattress as I have only slept on traditional spring mattresses before. All in all, this mattress is the comfortable and provides the best support of ANY of the tempurpedic mattresses. We tried them all. Thank you TP."

"this the worst mattress i ever bought, store that they sold it to me will not take it back or give my money back due the i had for 2 months they kept telling me it takes little bit of time to get use to it now that i ad it for two months and i still hate it all the sudden i had it too long therefore they cant do anything for me. My problem is it smell like chemicals and some mornings i can even taste it and it gets super hot i ended up in a puddle of sweet my sheets are always wet from sweating and too hard makes my shoulder hurt! Will not recommend this product at all! "

"We just upgraded from a Contour-Select after 30 days. It was a little too firm for our liking. But we Love , love, love thr tempur-pedic. Last night we had our best night's sleep ever - both of us. Our morning aches, pains and stiffness were gone. We can't believe we waited this long to invest in this mattress. hope we have many more night's like this. "

"I have had 2 back surgeries and have had very few restful nights sleep over the past 5 years. When I slept on my new bed the first 2 nights I thought I had made a mistake. I felt aches I didn"t know I could get as my body started to adjust to actually being in proper alignment. From the 3rd nite on I started sleeping better and longer hours. Now I sleep for 6-8 hours and don't even wake and that has not happened for 5 years. Why did I wait so long to spend the money on something that I use probably more than any thing else in my life. A good nites sleep is priceless."

"I ordered a TEMPUR-Contour Signature 2 weeks ago , I cannot honestly review comfort and sleep quality because I am still waiting on the mattress. I have called customer services numerous times and have been given dates that the mattress should be delivered by each on has come and passed. Yesterday I was told a supervisor would check into it and call me back , it has been 24 hours and I still have not received a call back , I called today and I have been told customer service is unavailable . When you pay almost $4000.00 for a mattress and foundation you would expect a much better level of customer service and at least the representatives understand the information they are reading on there computer . I doubt TemperPedic will even post this review but I do hope they are honest enough to do so if not it really gives the reviews no legitimacy. "

Firm & Supportive

"This is a GREAT mattress if you like firm & sleep on your back. It did come with a smell which went away after about a week. It also softened up somewhat after a few nights. My problem was that it was too firm for me. I have brittle bones & it felt like it was pushing back at me causing significant pain the next day in my lower back, sides & shoulders. I am a side sleeper so it wasn't very comfortable. My husband can sleep on a hard tile floor and he found it perfect. Exchanging for a Cloud Supreme. Thank you Tempur-pedic for allowing us to make an exchange, it's the only way to know if a mattress is right for you, by sleeping on it."

"This is it! Tempurpedic have figured out, simply the best mattress out there, especially for the people with lower back/neck problems. It's just a perfect combination for side and back sleepers - not too soft, not too firm and just with the right amount of support. I've spent hours in showrooms and had demoed most of the tempur models, latex and other brands (less expensive and same quality, as they claim) memory foam mattresses and nothing can come anywhere close in comfort and support to this mattress, at least that is what i feel. Nothing like a feeling of waking up in the morning without a body pain! "

""This bed is similar to the Deluxe Bed. The base foam is now 8 inches instead of the 6 inches. I have owned the Deluxe Bed for over a year and it is wonderful. The Deluxe bed was their best selling bed of all time and for a reason because it is a great bed. This bed should be the same. " "

"My wife and I had this mattress for about two months. It takes about a week to get use to it. Overall, the mattress is not firm enough for us, which led to back pain and difficulties to change positions. Back pain was recorded only by me (I weigh 165 pounds) while sleeping on my back. Side sleep was comfortable for both of us. We switched to the contour select."

"This is the 9th day since we got our new bed and we are sleeping like babies. The first few days I didn't sleep that good but my husband did. Now that I have gotten used to the feel of the bed I love it. Much more comfortable than a spring mattress."

"i was a little nervous about buying this bed since it recently came out this summer and i didn't see too many reviews on it. after sleeping on this for 3 nights, i must say the price is worth it. this is an awesome bed!! my husband and i had a sleep number bed, which we did not care for...and this bed is soo much better. i wish we bought this years ago and threw out our sleep number when we got it!!"
