"This is the best Memory Foam we ever own, we love this bed a little pricey but worst the money, highly recommended to any one who want to buy the Memory Foam bed, I owned the Serta brand before but No comparison with this at ALL."

Grand Bed

"I highly suggest that anyone who wants to buy a grand bed think twice. I was informed the bed needed to be broken in, but we were unable to lye on the bed to break it in due to the stiffness. We had to remove the mattress and replace it with a temporary one due to major back aches and restless nights. We used the supreme luxe which had to be the finest mattress we ever laid on. If you like laying on the floor then you will like the grand bed. There was nothing grand about this mattress."

10 years of back pain gone in 1 night

"My wife and I purchased the king Grand bed a few months ago. I was very hesitant to spend 10K on a bed and my parents and in-laws said we were crazy. I was the problem with our old bed. I couldn't walk sometimes in the mornings for a few hours. I would wake up every hour because I was in so much pain. I knew it was time to get a new bed when I would go into the living room with my pillow and sleep on the floor with a blanket. After the bed was delivered it was stiff so my wife took off her shoes and walked on the bed a few times. The bed softened right up and I have been sleeping like a baby for months now. I have absolutely zero pain when I wake up and I sleep through the night. I haven't been tired upon waking in months. The bed is crazy expensive but I know I wouldn't waste another breath on anything else. We just purchased the grand pillows and have slept on them for just a couple nights so we are still breaking those in. My dog is also waiting for her Temper dog bed to ship. I am a true believer in their products."

Softer than the 1st generation Grand Bed

"We have 3 Grands in our home and recently upgraded our first Grand bed ( purchased about 4 years ago )to the new Grand bed. The older Grand went to our last guest room. If you have slept on the 1st generation Grand and loved it, you will not like the new one. It is much softer and not as firm as the first. This has caused us problems as we were accustomed to the firmer tempur material. In short, we still love tempurpedic but wish they would not have gone to soft - medium would have been nice. New bed is now going in the guest room and the old one is coming back down. This message is really only targeted to those who already own the 1st generation Grand. If this is your first Grand then you will probably love it. Too soft if you have lower back issues or shoulder issues. Move into a firmer material as you will not be comfortable in the soft material. I'm 42 with a bad lower back due to an accident. The new Grand kills me."

Odor is terrible-DO NOT buy this bed

"This bed was delivered yesterday and the odor it gives off has spread throughout my house. My wife and I cannot sleep in the room. Customer service has told me that it could take up to two weeks for it to go away! They recommend that I use it, roll on it etc. and that just letting it sit there will not help. So I have to work to make this mattress usable? The salespeople did not mention this at all and I think this is a ridiculous experience for a very expensive bed, any bed for that matter. This is not a 'minor odor' as stated on the Tempur-Pedic website, so if you are not willing to put up with this major inconvenience DO NOT buy this bed, or any other Tempur-Pedic products!!!!"

too expensive

"This is our 5th Tempurpedic bed. Each mattress in our vaction homes and primary home is exactly the same 'type' but the firmness is so different,it doesn't make any sense. We recently had to have our $8,000 mattress replaced with a brand new one after 4 years as it was tearing at the seams right down to the foam. It was great that they did replace it as I was initially looking for a repair. So we have the same mattress but it's like sleeping on concrete!!Unbearable!!! So now the suggestion is buy an expensive topper for the top. I wouldn't recommend this bed to anyone as you do not know what you will get. The show room is totally different from the product that arrives. Out of 5 mattresses (exactly the same) we have one that is comforatable. This one bed is what sparked us to buy the same for all our vacation homes. What a waste of loads of money. I do not look forward to going to bed but I also cannot wait to get out of my bed in the morning so my days are long and productive. That's the up side. "

"LOVE this bed!!!! Best money we ever spent. The only problem we have is that we can't take it with us when we travel and by the time we get home our backs are screaming for our bed. Every night when I crawled into bed I say "I love my bed". When I get home from road trips one of the first things I do is hug my bed and tell it how much I missed it. LOL :) My sister has the cloud, very nice bed also. But I do like my Grand better. "

"Worth every penny! I usually have some low grade but tolerable back pain, my husband on the other hand, has sciatica. The first day after sleeping on this bed was absolute heaven. My husband and I no longer have back pain and we finally sleep all through the night. I also wasn't able to sleep on my side secondary to hip pain, I now can sleep on my side. The only down side is if your a stomach sleeper - this is not the bed for you. otherwise back and side sleepers - this is a go. We were deciding between the Rhapsody and the Grand, my husband and I really wanted to like the Rhapsody given its significantly cheaper than the Grand. But after 3 visits to the mattress store and lying on each bed at least 20 minutes or more, the GRAND was the only one for us. other sites talk about how its hard to move in the bed - I really don't notice much of a difference. We also were concerned about the sweating issue given the tempur-pedic beds are known to make you body retain more heat. We purchased the higher priced tempur-pedic bed linens and have not run into that problem. In summary , yes the Grand is expensive , but at the end of the day if your more productive during work hours because you are pain free and slept the whole night, then its an excellent investment . Don't short change yourself!"

"We have had our grand bed for two months it is absoluty wonderful get the most deep restful sleep ever. We never have stiffness anymore,we are in our 50s the best investment we have ever made, I tell everyone its just like the commercial its great thanks"

"This is the most luxurious and extravagant bed i have ever been on. It feels so good and conforms to the body for a peaceful good night rest. My husband and I absolutely love it, that we wish we could spend the whole day on it everyday. I feel rejuvenated every morning! It is grand!"

"I originally ordered the AlluraBed, which has a medium firmness rating on the Tempurpedic website. Since I was waking up with back pain on some mornings I exchanged it for the GrandBed thinking that it a medium-soft firmness rating the Tempurpedic website. Since receiving the GrandBed I have found that the GrandBed is much firmer than the AlluraBed. I which I hadn't made the exchange. The GrandBed is too firm and very slow to conform to my body. "

"This is our first Tempurpedic bed and we are very very happy with it. I finally have a good night sleep since childbirth, thanks to Tempurpedic for this well made high quality product. Yes, it costs a bit more, but it is 1000% worth it!! trust me. Don't waste your time on those knock off in the market, the truth is that you got what you paid for. "

"My wife and I have had this bed for the past year and a half and we LOVE this bed. She first thought I was insane looking at an $8,000 bed and I had to sell her on the idea. After a couple weeks of sleeping on it, I asked her if she is sleeping well and she said "I Can't remember anything after I lay my head down. It seems like I am asleep for 5 minutes and the alarm is already going off to get up and go to work". This is a testament to how soundly you sleep on this bed. I had a higher end Stearns and Foster mattress before this, which is a Sealy company, and nothing compares to the Grand Bed. I do admit, for a young couple like ourselves who don't have a platinum American Express card, this was an investment for us, but one that will pay off the next 20 years! It does take a week or 2 to adjust to the Tempur material, but give yourself some time to adjust and you will love it. 5 stars out of 5 for us!!!"

"I've had the bed for about two years. It has never really felt comfortable, and I really do not think it was worth the money. I've slept better in dozens of beds. The use of high quality material is nice and makes you feel like you have something of great value, but in my experience, the bed doesn't meet expectations when you actually use it rather than look at it. The "memory foam" does pop up where i usually sit on the bed, but it is a kind of hollow pop up without any support which probably meets the warranty language, but does not meet the customer expectation in my opinion. I have discouraged many people from purchasing the grand as a result. I think the grand needs a lot of work to justify the price, and frankly, I would not give this bed another opportunity. I am trying to sell the bed on craigslist right now, so if you are in the bay area, check out the ad. I would love to unload this on someone else. I paid cash for it so it is all mine for better or worse. "

If you want to sleep like a baby I recommend and suggest you try this mattress 5 star, if you don’t believe me go to any mattress store and lay on it for 10 minutes, or if you know somebody that owns this mattress ask to sleep on it for one night, this is by far the best investment. The reviews on this web are very accurate. In my opinion this is a great mattress the best of it is it adapts to your body no matter what. Yes I recommend it, it all starts with the packaging they protect this mattresses like there is mine of gold inside of it, the only thing is missing is a code to open it. They honor their warranty like you can not believe it unlike the competition. See it your self. "

"We currently own nothing but TEMPUR-PEDIC, and yes after realizing that we spend 1/3 of our life sleeping; we decided to invest in not just a good mattresses but the best mattresses available, my wife and I currently sleep on the Allura Bed Split King Advanced Ergo Adjustable Base Split 2-pc got them last year in April at Rooms To Go, we have a 5 year old and decided to buy him a mattress after owning this wonderful mattresses. We got a good deal again at Rooms To Go on this Grand Bed and is just as nice if not better, my wife thinks is a little to hard but I love it, is a harder than the Allura but I sleep well on both. Yes I recommended to every body, you may regret spending too much on a BMW or Mercedes but you will never regret spending on these mattresses I promise you. This review is on the Grand Mattress Queen size. This is my second review, and no thought by far the best mattress you will ever own, my only complaint is there was a black box with all the paperwork, including a letter, warranty registration form and envelope to register, there was a form stating “thank you for buying we are offering a free set of sheets including the skirt 300 count just send us a copy of your invoice and we will send you the sheets as a thank you”. I thought great, I filled all the paperwork for the warranty and the form for the sheets, I have not heard anything. What happen? Who knows, sounds like they offered something that they could not deliver, it will be better to not offer it than to offer and not deliver. NOTE: The warranty registration was not offered on the Allura Mattresses only on the Grand, and the sheets only offered on the Grand Mattress, the registration for the warranty on the Allura was offered on line or simply when submitting a claim to call them with invoice on hand. (Stated on the paperwork). "

"My wife and I just moved up from a Tempur-Pedic Bellasonna to the GrandBed and I'm here to report the difference is amazing. We both loved the old mattress, but in upgrading from a Queen to a King we decided to move into the best Tempur-Pedic offers. The materials that make up the GrandBed are better and there's more of them...the additional and thicker layers of HD material envelop and cushion you in a way the lesser Tempur-Pedic beds can not. The heat-factor with Tempur beds is something to consider, but since we keep our sleeping environment here in Las Vegas no greater than 70F, it's not an issue...in fact, it's quite cozy. In closing, all I can really say is...there's no going back...back to any other bed, that is. The GrandBed is the ultimate mattress...yes there are those that cost multiple times more, but their "exotic" materials are useless and do not improve in any way the sleeping experience I have found in the GrandBed."

"When I first lay down on this tempur-pedic bed, I thought that it was too hard to be comfortable, but after a few seconds of adjusting to my body, I felt very relaxed and supported. After three years of ownership, I can't say enough good things about my GrandBed. Whenever I spend a night away from home I find myself missing my bed. Like other reviewers, I find this mattress warm, and getting up in the morning is interesting. I'm 6'4" and 280 pounds, I make a pretty big dent in the memory foam that I have to crawl out of! But the sleep quality is something that doesn't compare with any other bed I've ever been in. Yes, it's an expensive bed but since I spend at least six hours a night sleeping, why shouldn't I get something that is the most comfortable and provides quality sleep. Plus, I plan on keeping this bed for a long time and with the 20 year warranty, it's a good investment in my personal comfort. Whenever I hear someone talking about mattress shopping, I ALWAYS tell them how much I love my Tempur-Pedic and recommend that they try it out."

"I purchased my set back in the beginning of Nov 2010. As somone who tosses and turns a lot when sleeping, the first few weeks of going Tempur from high end padded coil was definitely an adjustment (just turning around in the bed can be a chore when you aren't used to it.) After a couple of months though, I find I've adjusted very well. I hardly toss and turn anymore, and wake up feeling very refreshed. No more morning soreness, no more feeling tired. Although, getting out of this mattress in the mornings can be a chore. It's so comfortable, and by morning you've sunk down into the perfect support position that having the will to get out of bed can be a chore. Marking value was difficult. I find the grand bed to be a good value personally, but I think that if I'd had to finance the purchase, it probably would have been a better move to go with a tempur cloud line. I suggest that if you have the means to just purchase this set outright without making any major strains to the budget, this mattress is definitely a good value. If you really have to budget or go into debt for it, Tempur Cloud line would probably give you the most value for your budget."
