Never felt so good.

"I woke up with absolutely no aches or pains. It was the craziest feeling. I actually prefer this bed to the more expensive cloud models, at least from what I tried out in the store. I can't believe people are complaining about the odor. Good luck finding a quality memory foam mattress that doesn't have an odor for a short period of time. It WILL go away. Don't worry about it and don't let it effect your final decision. Might I add that I am a side sleeper. On this mattress, I get the support that I need. Soft but firm. No numbness, no discomfort. I actually slept for awhile on my back as well. I've never been able to sleep on my back. It's that comfortable. Stop thinking about it and BUY!!! I'm recommending this bed to all my family and friends. Thanks for creating such a spectacular mattress."

Criticisms weren't valid - best bed ever

"I took several months to buy a mattress. I went to different stores, tried out mattresses, and got a number of opinions from salespeople and web reviews. Mostly, I heard that the tempurpedics were high quality but a bit overpriced, hot, and smelly. When mine was delivered, I found there was a slight scent but nothing annoying. I also found it to be quite cool, although I only use a light comforter and single set of sheets (I tried a thick comforter but found it too hot on both my old bed and the tempurpedic). But honestly, I think that the negative reviews for this mattress just don't hold any water. Since I got this mattress, I've slept better than since I was in high school, and my spouse no longer wakes me up at night. I don't think it's worth going to the high end cloud models--they're not worth the additional 1-2k in my opinion, but I really do think the cloud select model is a great value. I'm guessing that the negative criticisms for this bed come from oversensitive people who shop for high-end stuff in general. But for the average joe that just wants to sleep better, this thing is worth every dime!"

I love this bed!

"When I first got this bed I thought it was a little too firm, and the smell was pretty strong. But it softened out alot after a month and the smell was gone after a few day. I really like this bed, its very supportive but also soft and excellent quality. "

Best sleep ever

"After almost 25 years of marriage, we thought it was time to invest in a mattress that was really comfortable. We looked at all available memory foam mattresses on the market. We originally thought TempurPedic was out of our price range. After looking at the Cloud, we realized we could afford it. We've slept on the bed since January 1st and have been more than pleased. It is truly the best investment we've made. We purchased a split king with an adjustable base. I wouldn't recommend buying a bed online without shopping in an actual store where you can actually lay on it to see if it is comfortable to you. As for the "smell" that others speak of, we weren't disturbed by it at all. We painted the room the weekend prior to the bed being delivered and we found a more disturbing odor from the paint than the bed..."

Hard, Smelly, and overpriced

"I am EXTREMELY disappointed with my experience with the Cloud Select. 1) The mattress stinks. Yes the smell kind of went away but it still stinks weeks after ordering. It seems so bad that my sheets pick up the scent. 2) Its hard as a rock. If you are a side sleeper this model will numb your shoulder and hip. I tried it over a week and each night was torture. I even ordered a topper from overstock but that did not work. 3) Hot! They say this model is cooler but it is an inferno. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this model."

"I've slept on many of different kinds of mattresses, including tempurperdic rip offs! I must say, this is the BEST bed I've ever slept on. I usually have to take a droplet of melatonin to get to sleep because I'm just so wired up. However, laying on the bed for five minutes puts me to sleep because it's just that comfortable! I am actually excited to sleep when I get home from work! How ironic? I have also never been able to sleep on my back and have always had to sleep on my sides and wake up with sore shoulders and an achy neck, but with the cloud, whether I am sleeping on my neck or sides, I do not wake up sore! I am in love with this bed and wished all my furniture was made of the same material used for this mattress!"
