Recovery

My husband bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress for our anniversary several years ago. When I was 31, I had the first of 6 hip replacements, followed by bilateral shoulder surgery, cervical spinal fusion and I am currently recovering from lumbar spine surgery.

After we took delivery of this mattress and we slept on it that night, this was the FIRST time since I was in my 20s that I could sleep on my SIDE without pain !  Up until then, we had tried several different mattresses, all to no avail.  I even bought one that my chiropractor recommended.  It was the biggest waste of money. After all my surgeries, I couldn’t wait to go home because I knew that my mattress was far more comfortable than the one on my hospital bed.

I can’t begin to explain how valuable this mattress is to me medically.  I used to have to sleep on my back all the time.  I couldn’t change position without pain, nor could I sleep on my side without agony. Currently, I have incisions on my lower back and belly from my lumbar spine surgery.  There is NO way I would be able to sleep on a regular mattress after having surgery like that.

I am so glad that my husband took the plunge… because it was truly worth it.

HI, I bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow in 2001. And I just love it. Had trouble with my hips and pain, well the bed was just great. Later I had both my hips replaced, was I glad I had my Tempur-Pedic bed. I used to have down pillows, and I used to bash them into comfort..... I now sleep great and still, oh, I do turn, the pillow is just wonderful and saves the night. I take one with me on my travels.
