I love this set. I had wanted one for years, but my husband didn’t want me to spend that much money on a mattress set, I think mainly because he didn’t believe that it could be so comfortable.  He passed away in Dec. of 2006 from lung cancer and I moved from our large lake-front home to a senior citizen community park.  So then I ordered the mattress set from a local business, and I am so glad that I did that!  I am 72 years old, overweight, and suffer from arthritis and prone to get sore from sleeping on any other kind of mattress.  The last one we had together was the Select Comfort air mattress, which I still have in my guest bedroom, but made my shoulders and hips especially, very sore when sleeping.  We even tried a water bed which was nice at first, especially because of the heated water, but also made me sore, plus hard to get out of in the morning as we got older.

The only thing I don’t like about the Temper-Pedic is that I don’t want to get up in the morning! I don’t get sore anymore from lying in bed and sleep so much more soundly, even after the loss of my spouse of 50 years of marriage.

I just had to write! I am so excited about my new bed. My brother actually owns a furniture store and after his family tried one of these beds, he decided to surprise me with a queen sized one! What an awesome surprise!! 

You hear things on the TV and sometimes a good sales pitch, but it is all true! I weigh in at about 280 lbs and have a lot of health problems, so I was a little skeptical, wondering if this bed would work for “oversized” people. I have to tell you this is soft and firm at the same time. I get in my comfort position and it’s like the bed is cradling me.  Oh man, I do not want to leave this nice little nest. And the pillow, oh my gosh, I use to sleep with three pillows....two big ones and one body pillow. Now I only need the Tempur-Pedic pillow alone. The pillow just conforms to your head and that is such a wonderful feeling.  My pillow never moved one inch the whole night I slept on it.

I can testify to the fact that this bed does not get “hot”.  I hate hot and I have to have a nice cool spot for my feet.  My feet are very comfortable on this bed.  And whenever I turned over in my old bed, the bed would bounce because of my weight. On my Tempur-Pedic bed all I get is a soft thud.  Nice.  Life could not be better. What can I say except that now its fun to go to bed again!
