A beautiful pillow but with a price

"I have always been a down pillow lover for as long as I can remember (got that from my mom I guess) but as of recently I have been having trouble finding a down pillow. MY girlfriend and I went to our local store to buy a mattress when I came across the Tempurpedic Cloud Pillow. At first I wasn't impressed by it mainly for it's price to be honest, I'm used to paying a fraction of the cost for pillows. After we laid on a few mattresses the Cloud Pillow grew onto me so I decided to buy one also when we picked out a mattress, and no the mattress wasn't a Tempurpedic but I'll get to that part later. At first I thought the pillow was too hard for me but after using it for a week I wouldn't change it for any pillow around. With that pillow I have had the most restful sleep that I have ever had, now for the "other brand" mattress thats a different story. The pillow is very supporting but buttery soft at the same time. I personally think the only reason it is a 3 star rating is because people want to review this pillow after the first night. I can't emphasize this more, GIVE IT A FEW NIGHT OR EVEN WEEKS!!!! This pillow will grow on you. It has changed my sleeping so well that I returned the "other brand" mattress and purchased a Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme Breeze mattress set which I will review at a later time. Over all the only complaint I have for this pillow is the price, but not enough that I would't buy another one or even recommend one to my parents, just if you do buy one use it for a few days then put judgement onto it. "

This is my favorite pillow

"This is by far my favorite Tempur-Pedic pillow. It is also the softest pillow. I purchased the standard size Tempur-Cloud pillow, and I have been using it for almost 3 years. I have tried the others, but they are too firm. This one you just fall right into and go into a very deep sleep. If you like a very soft pillow that you can sink right into, this is the one! I love this pillow!!"

Finally a good nights' sleep!!!

"I have searched for the right pillow for years. Every pillow has to be propped up a certain way or you have to lie in supposedly ' the right position '. This is the first pillow that gave me exactly what it promised...the best sleep I've had in more years than I can count. From the first night I slept great! Side, back,or flat on my face, I sleep great! Thank you so much. As for the price, it was well worth it. My husband loves his too. "

Great for side sleepers- a little pricey

"A little on the pricey side, but great support of the head and neck for side-sleepers. I can see how back sleepers would find this a little too high, but for me it's great. I would recommend the contour pillows for back-sleepers - my wife loves hers."

Heavenly Deep SLEEP

"I finally found my pillow!! With painful joint inflammation in my shoulders, I have finally found my pillow and I am thrilled! I sleep on my side alot as well as my back and this pillow really is like sleeping on a cloud. Even the first night with my new pillow, I woke up feeling rested and refreshed. We bought the original tempur-pedic mattress years ago and we have been very pleased with their products. I will be buying a cloud pillow for my husband too!"

Way too thick

"It's 4am and I can't sleep because my neck is killing me. This pillow is too firm and way too thick. Waste of around $300 buying two. Very disappointed. "

VERY disappointed

"My son wanted this pillow for his birthday, so I bought 3 for the whole family. We all hate them. They are supposed to be soft, they are hard. We have rolled them like they suggest, walk on them, sit on them, still very uncomfortable. Can't return them because of their policy. Out $450 so NOT happy about that. I emailed them and never heard back. I wish I would have bought from Costco, at least I would have gotten my money back. DO NOT BUY!!! Have had the worst sleep for two weeks, and headaches every morning... I go into my sons room, his is thrown on the floor. NEVER AGAIN!"

I am generally VERY easy to please.....

"We really, REALLY wanted to like these pillows. The one we tried out in the store seemed heavenly, but after three weeks of neck aching, crunching, etc. we just can't stand our queen sized pillows. The salesperson at the store told us that the standard size was softer than the queen size; however, the people at Tempurpedic say this is not true. We rolled them, stepped on them and I even spent a total of 15 hours sitting on mine (hey! I am sitting around with a broken ankle!) trying to break it in. They are simply too thick! Also, they are a little wider than what fits in a standard pillow case, making them even thicker as they can't relax in the case. Tempurpedic's solution was to tell me to buy their pillowcases... come on! We LOVE our Rhapsody mattress, but these pillows are agony. So Disappointed. Also, Tempurpedic said if the store doesn't stand behind the pillow we are stuck with our $320 purchase. NOT HAPPY. "

Too firm. Unforgiving. Causes Neck Pain

"Tempurpedic has yet to come up with a pillow that is truly shapeable and able to accommodate different sleeping needs in different positions and sides. Following a car accident causing severe whiplash 10 years ago, I bought the Tempu Contour pillow to support my neck. I have loved it but can only sleep with it on one side, so decided to get a pillow that would accommodate particular neck issues when sleeping on either side. The salesperson at the mattress store claimed that the CLOUD pillow was shapeable, so I bought it. At first, I was very happy with it -- no more tossing and turning, no more punching and shaping my pillow. However, I noticed that I had minor neck pain the first few days which has become pronounced over the 2 weeks I have had the CLOUD. The pillow is NOT shapeable -- it is stiff, very heavy, and puts my neck at an angle which aggravates the neck injury. Since it is not returnable, I will take the cover off, and attempt to do some at-home shaping (cut it down) to try to salvage some of the expense of the CLOUD. "

Too Thick/Too Hard-Take pillow case off

"We bought the cloud supreme mattress and love it. We also got the cloud pillows. Laying on them in the showroom, they were perfect. First night sleeping on the pillows at home was awful. They are too thick as stated in alot of the reviews. Well, I spent the past few months wondering what the difference was between the showroom pillow and ours and why was it so hard almost like it was pushing back at me when I layed on it. I just now realized it is because of the pillowcases I put on them. They are standard 20 x 30 size that come with sheet sets. They are tight fitting for the cloud pillow. The case was keeping the pillow confined and so it does not mold to my neck or head properly. Removed case and slept perfect on it last night. Will have to make some wider than standard size pillowcases. Mystery solved....Hope this helps some folks out there who wanted to love their new pillows"

cloud pillow

"Way too thick! We have no idea how a stomach sleeper could possibly sleep on one of these. It would be like sleeping on a ramp! They are smelly at first. We got them with our new Cloud Supreme bed (which we are exchanging for a Cloud Lux) we want a softer bed- hope we are making a good decission and will find the new bed softer."

Too Thick

"I have the Cloud Supreme Bed and LOVE IT! Do not love the Cloud Pillow. We have 2 that came with our bed. One is not as thick as the other, but both are still too thick and give both my husband and I sore necks. It feels like our chins are tucked to our chest. I also have an off brand neck style pillow and have used it and am thinking about purchasing the tempur-pedic neck pillow. I also have the Symphony pillow and it hurts our neck. Kind of disappointed having all these pillows and still haven't found one I love. Scared to spend more money and still be disappointed. "

Too High in the Middle

"This pillow is a nice idea but becomes entirely impractical for real sleep. It's thick in the middle and thin at the edges. This causes my head to raise and my neck to bend uncomfortably. This makes my sleep almost unbearable, despite the comfort of the actual material that it is made of. I should note that I am a tall man, so my problem is not caused by a petite stature."

ouch

"I splurged and bought the cloud pillow because I have fibromyalgia and chronic headaches and I thought the cloud pillow, being such a soft pillow, would be great for both of those problems. And while the cloud pillow is soft enough that it doesn't bother my head, I barely sleep because it feels like the pillow is digging into my shoulders and neck and it's very painful. But to be fair, I don't know that any pillow I'd try wouldn't do that. And I would recommend the Cloud pillow to someone that's just looking for comfort and not to relieve fibromyalgia pain."

Most Amazing Pillow Ever!

"My husband and I bought the cloud luxe bed in feb and we love it!...But we have suffered with terrible pillows. We finally decided to order pillows. Reading all the reviews my husband instantly knew that this was the pillow for him. We got him the queen size since he had been using a queen already and was used to have more room. I ordered the contour pillow because based on the other reviews, I thought this pillow would be too thick for me since I am petite. Boy was I wrong! As soon as the pillow arrived, I fell in love! My husband was hooked after just one night of blissful sleep. I tried it the following day while taking a nap and instantly regretted my decision to order a different pillow! This is perfect for me since I'm a side sleeper. Once it adjusts to your head and neck pressure I had no problem with the size. It is also SOOOO soft and still supportive! I am placing an order for my own today since my husband came to bed last night and found me on his pillow :)"

Too Hard

"It was suggested that we sit on our pillows for a few weeks to soften them up. We sat on these pillows a minimum of six hours a day for over three weeks. They are still like putting your head on a board. Sorry to say, but a complete waste of our money. We love our Cloud Luxe Split King bed with the Advanced Ergo Base, but will be throwing these pillows away since they can NOT be returned. If I could have given minus five stars I would have. "

Cloud pillow is too stiff

"We ordered our Cloud pillows and began using them the first night we got our Cloud bed. We thought they were okay in the beginning, but neither of us has used those pillows since after the first few weeks of use because they became very stiff and uncomfortable. Maybe we got bad ones. The bed is great"
