Overall Great Product

"Admittedly, it is the greatest sleep that I've ever had. I always wished these were less expensive though."

Just Buy It

"It's pretty much an impossibility that you will regret your decision. Yes, it's expensive. But the comfort is heavenly. We've had a regular high-end mattress, a Select Comfort and the Tempur-Ergo Advanced. We've looked forward to going to bed before after a long day. But it was the act of laying down...not the actual bed until now. The firm softness caresses sore muscles. We have had NO health issues because of the mattress. And being able to eat and drink in bed...putting the coffee cup on the mattress with no worry of spilling...is wonderful. I weigh twice what my wife weighs. (Little wife) She can hear me get out of bed but barely. I can't hear her at all...in a dead quiet room. So buy the thing and enjoy it. We've had ours for four years already with no issues...except for the remotes...not in love with those. "

Advanced ergo with cloud luxe

"I love this base. I haven't slept this well in quite awhile. I don't know how I ever slept flat now that I don't have to. Only complaint is that the massage function is not very strong, but it is really loud. I love it though. I will never go back to a normal bed."

How did I live without it!?

"Due to a medical situation I spent the last two years sleeping with three pillows behind my back and two pillows under each leg. Talk about awkward and not very comfy. My interest was caught by tv ads about the adjustable bed and I decided to do some serious investigating. It led to me purchasing the Advanced Ergo and the Cloud Supreme and I have no idea how I lived without this bed! It took me a little to get used to it but that is normal with any new item. All my old pillows went in the trash. This bed is phenomenal. Talk about comfort. Talk about versatility. Talk about ease of use! How did I live without it!!?!"

"The TempurPedic mattress is heavenly and using it onto of an adjustable base truly enhances the comfort and benefits. We have had our Advanced Ergo for 19 months and do NOT regret the purchase. We like to read in bed and sometimes watch television so having the ability to raise our heads is quite convenient. Note however, raising does not help snoring or sinus congestion at all. The ability to raise the legs also helps if you have any injury that requires doing so. The massage feature is a total joke, useless. We have a king mattress with the split king base. Ninety-nine percent of the time it works perfectly however every now and then one side raises and the other doesn't OR at times you try to stop it and it keeps going. For these instances, just return it to flat and try again. Usually this isn't an issue, but just so you know it can happen. I would have rated the Advanced ERGO higher except that the L&P adjustable offers a more comfortable pitch for the head AND the legs. We wish we had purchased that brand."

"While the base definitely makes the mattress even more comfortable, I am not sure how well made it is. At over $1500, I expect a quality product and it was already failing two days after getting it. When I called to arrange a replacement, I was surprised to hear that they first wanted to inspect it. To the technician's credit, the fuse box had a loose connection. Still, I would expect a piece of equipment like this to be in perfect condition upon arrival. What is most upsetting though is the deceptive warrantee advertised. Contrary to what the website claims, the wooden foundation is the only part that comes with a 20 year warrantee, and even that is pro-rated. THE ELECTRONICS AND THE MOTORS FOR THE ADJUSTABLE FOUNDATION ARE ONLY COVERED FOR THREE YEARS! You are responsible for all costs and repairs after that time. Tempurpedic should make this abundantly clear, rather than hide it in the small print. Better yet, I'd like to see them stand behind their $1700 product for all 20 years - exactly what their website gives the impression they are doing."

"I have had 3 major spinal surgeries since Decrmber 2009 (C4-C6 cervical fusion, L5-S1 lumbar laminectomy, and that was followed by a lumbar fusion of L5-S1 less than a year later.) I had a knock-off memory foam bed made by Bragada with a 4" memory form topper. I was simply sinking in way too much in the middle. So, I broke down and bought the Tempurpedic Cloud Luxe, which proved to be too soft for my needs but was still a great bed. I exchanged it for the Allura, and although it's firmer, it's more comfortable overall. My fusion from 1/17/11 is "still healing" and I've been in very severe pain both in my back, down the back of both my legs, and chronic hip bursitis in both legs. I decided to order the Advanced Ergo adjustable base because I believe I will be able to get better quality sleep when I'm on my back when both my head and feet are raised. It'll also give me better support when watching TV while I'm on disability. The bed was worth every cent. I just hope the base is too."

"I had the adjustable bed for 3 years now and the only thing I can complain about is sleeping with the feet of the bed adusted upward. I would sleep on my back and wake up in the middle of the night with really bad leg cramps. This happen during sleeping and trying to get out of bed. Any movement to the leg muscle would result in a very bad charlie horse. I now don't recline the foot of bed and never had any more cramps. Only thing is if I recline the head of bed, I slip down to where my feet hang outside the bed. I like to know if other people have the same problem. "

"I am still on the fence on whether or not I like the bed. But I hate the advanced ergo base. 1st, you cannot return it so you better make sure it is what you want. It is extremely loud (if you are a side sleeper like me). I can't sleep on my back so it does me no good. When I do raise the head section my husbands feet hang over the edge so I have to raise the feet too. He is 6 foot. His feet do not hang over the edge if the bed is flat. Also, I was told at the store we would get 2 remotes but we only got one. I wish I would have just gotten a basic frame and spent the additional money and upgrade to a king size bed. Also, if you do not like the bed it will cost $200 to send it back. All I can say it make sure you love everything before you buy it. "

"I've had 3 different mattresses in the past 12 years. 1st was an interspring, 2nd was a Sealy true-form memory foam and the latest is a temp-cloud Lux. I purchased a full-sized mattress with an advanced ergo massage unit at a Raymore and Flannigan outlet center. I got a great deal. Paid $1200. for the mattress and base together. Can't beat that with a stick! The bed's been great. Very comfortable and very helpful with the swelling problems I have with my ankles. (I was in a bad car accident about 18 months ago. Very happy with the bed - no more propping my feet on pillows. Although I still sleep with a memory foam knee pillow - helps my knees - which got messed up real bad.) Anyways, my son loves this bed too. He's 9, has Autism and epilepsy and when he does crawl into bed with me in the middle of the night - I've noticed he sleeps better too. I've bunked with him in hotels and he flails quite a bit. Not so much on the tempurpedic mattress. He wants one of his own and when I get some more money - I'm going to make the investment for him too. I'd highly recomend this bed to anyone especially people who have health issues. "

"Ok so I cheated and bought my adjustable base off Craigslist, but I would have paid full price if I'd know how fantatstic it was! Loving being able to situp and watch TV at a comfy angle. LOVING the massaging action! My husband's restless legs syndrome is already better due to the vibration in the foot-end of the bed. It does vibrate the floor so be prepared for a little bit of noise, but not loud by any means (and we have hardwood floors!) This adjustable stuff isn't just for "old people" or people with injuries...we're in our early 30s and LOVE IT! Let's just say, life doesn't get much better. One warning....be prepared to never want to leave your bed again."

"I am a little disappointed in the remote, as the button that is suppose to flatten the mattress worked less than 3 months. The frame is perfect for our needs. It allows us to sleep in even more comfort along with the allura bed we also purchased."

"Tempur-Pedic Adjustable Base Motor are JUNK it has a metal housing, in the inside the gears are made of plastic. I brought my Adjustable Base from Sleepy's on 9/1/06 for $1600. I purchase the extra warranty for one more year, for $100.00 more. My son called an ask why he could not extend it for another year their answer was, they only allow 1 year. Right after the 2rd year ended my motor stopped working on the Headboard. I call Tempur-Pedic up and told them what happen. I was told the gears were strip and made out of plastic not out of metal. What a shock that was. I asked if I could order the headboard motor. I was told they do not sell the headboard motor separately, I would half to buy both motor for $200 that was even a better shock than the first one. For $1600 you would think Tempur-Pedic would put in better motors. Those motors must be made in china were else. I am a senior citizen and handicap person now I don't have $200 for two new motor. For the life of me I don't know why they don't sell those motor separately. Bill MA. "

"We have found this bed to be extremely comfortable. It has relieved many of the back aches my husband has had - and the adjustable model allows us to sit in bed and read or watch tv without having to maneuver pillows behind us. I highly recommend the bed! "

"We purchased our Tempur-Pedic adjustable bed just before I had back surgery. It has saved me! I love it. When I came home from the hospital it was all set up for me and I was so happy with it. My husband and I can sleep at different setting now, since I need to adjust my bed so differently than he does now it really has been a life/marriage saver. :) There are days that I cannot get out of bed and to be able to sit up and work on my laptop or read and such is so perfect for me and the comfort of the mattress itself is wonderful. I would and I do recommend it to friends all the time. It is great for someone with back problems, trust me"

"The only flaw about this bed frame are the remote controls are not attached or labeled and they work for only one side of the bed (besides the flat button). I labeled them instantly with a sharpie L and R and will be purchasing some velcro tape to tape to the back of the remote and the side of the bed so they will always be reachable. The comfort of the bed is unbeatable with the feature of moving it into so many positions and the vibrations are nice on all settings and help my circulation. The vibration is quite loud, especially when turned all the way up, and it comes in waves up and down the bed (if you set it to feet/head). I have health problems and spend more than 1/3 of my life in bed- i can honestly say this is one of the best investments I have ever made. I love the control of positioning, its very gradual, and sleeping with it tilted slightly up is known to help acid reflux. I couldn't suggest this feature enough to anyone who is tired of propping pillows in bed to watch tv or read, but if you aren't interested in the vibrating "massage" feature, I would suggest the regular version, as this is the only difference as far as i can see. Over all I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and my expectations were completely exceeded with this and the cloud luxe mattress- I can't imagine another bed ever being as comfortable as this. I have not felt comparable comfort in years to this in a sitting or sleeping position, it was totally worth the money for the advanced version for me and my circulation problems. Tempurpedic is the best..."

"I purchased my Tempur Pedic with Advanced Ergo adjustable base 3yrs ago. It was the best investment for my spinal arthritis I could have made and have been recommending this bed to everyone I know and don't know. I have sung it's praise to anyone who would listen. Some have told me that I should be the " Poster Girl/Women" for Tempur Pedic. My mother who is 87yrs plans to purchase one next week since she had the opportunity to sleep on mine she fell in love with. If your are debating a Sleep Number vs Tempur Pedic there is no comparison. The longer you wait the longer it will be before you have a good nights sleep, go for it!"

"I just bought this base (will be delivered this week) and would like to point out the differences between this base and the regular Ergo adjustable base: The Advanced has the massage features not on the regular; The Advanced is wireless remote, not on the regular; The Advanced has 4 programable memory functions, not on the regular. If you have a pet that likes to chew on cords, the wireless is a benefit. If you don't want to hassle with finding the "sweet spot" when adjusting the bed each time, the wireless is a benefit. While testing the massage function, it seemed that the foot massage funtion is more noticeable when the bed is in a position other than flat than is the head massage function. I will come back in a few weeks after putting the new Deluxe bed with Advanced Ergo adjustable base after putting it through real usage (two hours at a store at this point)."
