Consumers Digest Best Buy
Tempur-Pedic® Swedish Mattresses™ set the industry abuzz when they were introduced to the North American market in 1992. The product was awarded “Best Buy” status by Consumers Digest in the premium pillow category in December 2004. The ComfortPillow by Tempur-Pedic is made of individually formed TEMPUR “micro-cushions” filling a specially-designed cover also made of TEMPUR® material. The “Best Buy” recognition is given only to products that provide exceptional quality and value to consumers. According to Consumers Digest, “Best Buys” were determined by a range of factors including the quality of the filling and cover; how effectively the components were pieced together; and how soft and supportive the product was. The pillow’s “Best Buy” recognition includes both standard and queen size products.
Good Housekeeping Seal
The Good Housekeeping Seal is America’s most trusted consumer icon. The Seal is the most recognized consumer product insignia in the United States and has pioneered the process of consumer evaluation in the marketplace.
Products in engineering, chemistry, home care, food appliances, nutrition, beauty and textiles all have earned the Seal in years past. Before any product can be advertised in Good Housekeeping magazine, it must be accepted by the Good Housekeeping Institute and thus may be eligible to use the Good Housekeeping Seal. Since 1909, the Good Housekeeping Seal has been a highly recognized statement of the magazine’s renowned Consumer’s Policy. The Good Housekeeping Consumer’s Policy, published in every issue of the magazine, states that if a product bearing the Seal proves to be defective within two years of purchase, Good Housekeeping will replace the product or refund the purchase price.

Arthritis Foundation’s Ease-of-Use Commendation
The Arthritis Foundation is the only nationwide, nonprofit health organization helping people take greater control of arthritis by leading efforts to prevent, control and cure arthritis and related diseases.
The Arthritis Foundation created the Ease-of-Use Commendation program to encourage manufacturers to design user-friendly products and packaging. All products must be submitted for testing by an independent lab experienced in the design and evaluation of products that are accessible to people with functional limitations due to the effects of arthritis. Only products that receive favorable reviews throughout the testing process are awarded the use of the Ease-of-Use commendation logo.
