Summary/Position Overview:
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing TPNA, this position will be a key member of TPNA Innovation & Product Development team and will be responsible for contributing to the advancement of the new product pipeline by defining market opportunities via a consumer-centric approach and then developing the products and business propositions required to successfully bring then to market.
Essential Duties:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the cross-functional Innovation team including: Marketing, Marketing Research, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Strategy, Finance and key agency partners to develop and launch innovative new products from consumer need state definition, through concept and product development and ultimately successful commercialization.
Primary areas of focus:
oLeverage the organization’s industry leading investment in consumer research and R&D to translate insights and consumer knowledge into the foundation to direct new product innovation and lead development of a key portion of the innovation pipeline.
oLead identification and evaluation of key product benefits and translate them into validated consumer desired, market desired products.
oIdentify and assess leading-edge technologies and services that can be integrated and leveraged to build out breakthrough long-term competitive advantage.
oTranslate validated concepts/products into viable business propositions with strong focus on consumer satisfaction, long term master brand impact and financial return.

oProven track record of project leadership skills.
oStrong analytic and strategic problem solving ability.
oStrong consumer centric approach to insight and need state identification and proven ability to translate this knowledge into products that meet consumer’s needs today and in the future.
oCreative thinking.
oExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.
oPrevious experience in Fitness, Wellness or Premium highly considered purchase categories is strongly preferred
oAbility to multi-task and run multiple projects in a fast paced, work environment.
oTeam player with strong people skills.
Requirements/ Education/ Experience:
oMinimum Bachelors Degree from a four-year college or university.
oMBA preferred
oMinimum 3-5 years branded marketing experience with a minimum of 3 years in new product development with a consumer products company (fast moving, semi-durable, electronic categories).
