HUGE not LARGE HUGE Mistake!

"This purchase was a HUGE MISTAKE consequently my review being made available to be seen or read is doubtful. Tempur-Pedic is the most uncomfortable bed I've ever owned! I replaced my queen SleepNumber bed because it was too large for my apartment. Decided on a twin Tempur-Pedic as it had been considered prior to SleepNumber purchase and dealer location. In the 8 months I've had my Tempur-Pedic I've not had a easy nights rest or wakened refreshed. I also purchaed sheets and a mattress protector which have never fit properly. When I registered my discontent the dealer provided me with a 2-inch mattress pad at no cost which was supposed to help with both issues. It has not done so. Needless to say I am not a happy customer and will not recommend Tempur-Pedic. "

awsome bed

"i never had this kind of bed yes very exspensive //but bought mine for 494.00 sold for over 1000.00 i sleep like a baby ..i drive semi and my old bed always gave me back aches wow took a couple days now gone ..sleep so good i just cant beleave how i sleep ..zzzzzz dont wait spend the cash ,get one now wow //you will be amazed .."

My expect was high we got PAIN & MOLD!

"Every Joint Aches from sleeping on the Medium. Flip the mattress over and there are spots (more than one) of Mold. We wake up with headaches and sore throats, My husband is not sensitive to anything- yet he also has had the flu like symptoms. We were going to the doctors and the doctor asked what changed in our life the only thing is the bed. Now we have spent- money- 50 days without sleep and not feeling well. I will update this when we get answers. Best of luck to you! "

Every Night I die and go to Heaven!

"I first laid on a Tempurpedic mattress about 14 years ago before they were even advertised at a Relax the Back Store. As soon as I got my next tax return I purchased one. They did not have all the options or sizes and styles they have now nor the foundation to purchase. I have arthritis in my spine and I always go to bed with a back ache but never wake up with one. I have had it for around 14 years now and still adore it. I also have tempurpedic pillows that I love. My husband loves the bed too. Our plan is to get the cloud and adjustable bed one of these days. I cannot express enough how wonderful this bed is. I think it is an amazing product that even after 14 years shows no wear. I believe they will last forever it may be the only mattress you ever have to buy. Highly recommend and my Chiropractor bought one too."

"I went and laid on several tempurpedic mattresses in the store and felt like the simplicity medium fit exactly what I wanted. Some support and a pillow top feel. After sleeping on it (or not sleeping) for over 30 days and walking on it and doing everything I could to "break it in" it is just too hard and I feel like I am laying on a board with absolutely no support. It is so thin. I wake up every hour because my arms go numb (side sleeper) because my arms don't sink in at all they just sit on top. It feels as though my body is squishing my arms against a wooden board. I am about to exchange it for a cloud luxe or supreme. It can't come soon enough because I am now sleeping on my old mattress on the floor in my loft. "

Only bed I will buy.

"I had 2 back surgeries. I could not sleep I went to the store to look at tempur pedic. And the select comfort. I never made it to select comfort. I tried the bed in the tempur pedic show room I fell a sleep. My wife said dont bother him when he wakes up he will buy the bed. I am buying my 3rd mattress for my summer house. They are not cheap in price but worth every penny you spend on one. I will never buy any other kind bed. Friends have tried my bed and they went out and bought their own. "

"My husband and I just got the simplicity soft bed and we love it! We were way overdue to get a new bed and this is the best choice we could have made. It took a few nights to get used to going from a spring mattress to this one but we've made the adjustment and are very happy with it. We won't ever go back to a spring again!"

Very Disappointed

"I won't make this mistake again! The mattress seemed fine in the store, but after a few weeks the poor quality and discomfort of the mattress showed. My wife and I have constant back pain every morning, which we never had before! Beware of the 90-day guarantee as it doesn't apply in certain situations. For this price range, the product is inferior in all aspects compared to its competitors. "

Best investment I ever made

"I had lumbar spinal fusion surgery as a teenager. My old mattress wasn't helping my back anymore. One day, I had enough of it and decided to buy this mattress. I got the twin size and it fits me perfectly. I love how this mattress contours to every curve of my body. I HAVE NOT HAD BACK PAIN SINCE I GOT MY NEW MATTRESS! Thanks Tempur-pedic! I will be investing in another one in the future. "

"I have gone back and forth on buying a tempurpedic for several years and this experience made me completely regret going through with it. I've laid on these beds before and thought they were wonderful, however mine is mediocre and probably worth about half the price that I paid. When my bed was delivered they forgot my bed frame, nor did they take my old bed. A week later they bring my bed frame and still dont take my old bed, and since I was at work both times there was nothing I could do. All I still want to do is send it back but that itself costs $300! If I had ever thought it would be possible that I didnt love the bed and seen that it was $300 to return I NEVER would have done this to myself!"

Well worth it.

"I had previously been sleeping on a "Cloud" and when upgrading from a Queen to a King sized mattress, was debating on going with a nicer model or keeping the Cloud. I went into the local Denver Mattress and tried out all the models, and then the salesmen showed me the new simplicity line that came in 3 different "feels". (Soft, Medium, Firm). When he told me it was the lower end model, I immediately thought I wasn't interested, but after giving them a try for half an hour, I was sold. My wife and I ended up getting the Medium Simplicity, and after a few weeks our sleep has been as good as ever, and we really can't tell the difference in sleep quality or actual bed quality from the Cloud. We still own the cloud and use it in our guest room, but I wish they had the Simplicity line when we had purchased it. The comfort and sleep quality is the same but you get it at an incredible value. Incredibly happy with our purchase. To those reading this that might consider switching from a spring to a tempur-pedic (especially now that Tempur-pedic is more affordable then ever), make sure you test out whatever model you get extensively in-store, and give yourself a few weeks to adjust. When I switched from a spring to a tempur, it took me about a month to get used to not having that "hop", and the overall feeling is worlds different. It is even an adjustment when working through your "inimate" moments. Eventually however you adjust on all levels, and now when I travel, I have a hard time adjusting back to a spring."

Not that much comfort what you see on TV

"I picked Simplicity soft matress at the local store Star Furniture after spending 30 days I could not sleep well at all may be I need to try higher collection CLOUD to see if new one will meet my expectation, as soft simplicity matress feels hard to me like a hard sponge as my back still feels stiff and the price went down in one week plus I have to pay restocking fee 10% in order to get the cloud collection. Once the sale was over no follow up by the sales person to see how was my sleep quality after 20 days I went to the store and I was told try it at least 40 days ans see how I feel. I am Tampur pedic pillow customer had it for five years and bought the new bed without trying it in the store."

Not great

"Got double soft - mattress does not have enough support. It saggs creating a sweatt-steamy pocket undernees. My pajamas are always wet. Smells really bad a week later. I think the all foam construction will fade away in 5-7 years time."
