"We have had our Allura only one month. However, we still can't wait to get to bed every night!! No smell from day one. Was a bit firmer than the store model, but our sales rep told us this and it already feels softer after one month. No aches and pains when we wake up. Used to have to put a pillow under a knee to get to sleep; no longer. My wife is a nurse and on her feet all day. Her back hurt more when she woke up before. Now she has virtually no pain in the morning and feels refreshed. Highly reccomend trying all the beds out; don't bring the kids, take your time choosing, and you will be satisfied with your investment. $5000 for a bed is heavy, but look at it as a investment in something you do 1/3 of your life!!"

"One word, "Awesome!" My wife and I were looking for a new bed after our move from Florida to California and we decided to spend the money on the AlluraBed with the Advanced Ergo Adjustable Base. If I could I would never leave the bed. I sleep through the night, my back and shoulder for the first time in years do not hurt when I wake up. I feel rested. My wife had a spinal fusion and a revision, this was our third bed in 4 years, her response was, "Finally!" If you were to ask, buy the bed! It will be the greatest sleep you ever have!"

"When we tell people that we gave each other a mattress for our anniversary, they laugh - but it has been the best gift/purchase made in a long time. We purchased the Allura and advanced Ergo system this week and are so happy with it. This is our first memory foam mattress and we couldn't be more pleased. I spent a lot of time comparing the different models and for us, this one was perfect. Great support but with the added softness of the pillow top. The vibration of the Ergo system is very relaxing prior to sleep, and both of us are sleeping better through the night - not tossing and turning or waking up uncomfortable, as we did on our spring mattress. Fresh out of the plastic, the mattress did smell the first few days but after a few days with the windows open, it is not noticeable at all. These mattresses are expensive, but in my opinion, worth it. I love, love this mattress and look forward to going to sleep at night. "

"Recieved our Allura King size bed yesterday-I couldn't wait until I could go to bed. We had tried the bed out at Mattress Firm and loved it. When I went to bed last evening I found that it was MUCH firmer than the one in the store. So I walked on it again this morning and will contiue to do so in hopes that it will soften up a bit. I continued to wake up last night- because the bed was firm..however I had NO back or hip pain which usually wakes me up at nigh nor did I feel like I had been run over by a truck when I got out of bed this morning. The "Smell" was not an issue."

"I seek quality before I budget for the price, thus I typically end up paying more for the items I value; and this is certainly the case for my TempurPedic AlluraBed mattress. You get what you pay for. And because TempurPedic has a large variety I definitely recommend shoppers try all the mattresses in a store with a full line-up, and then choose base on quality and comfort and not on price. Anybody who leaves a bad review probably bought the cheapest price rather than the best "fit" of most comfort. I previously had a coil spring mattress that many would accept as tolerable; but couldn't sleep as well on it. I found it developed a dip, I would wake up un-rested, and sometimes wake up sore. While on my old mattress I used to envy hotel mattresses above my own, but now I nearly despise going to hotels because my own AlluraBed mattress is far superior. My wife and I tried every TP mattress before choosing, and both of us agreed that our favorites were the AlluraBed and GrandBed (almost equally enjoyable). We have now owned our mattress for nearly two years and I have never slept better, more rested, or more comfortably. My wife and I love the same mattress (luckily) but we desire different TP pillows (I got the Rhapsody and Neck pillows, and she got the Cloud and Symphony pillows). I also use the Body pillow because a comfortable and proper sleep also depends on body position, and something between my knees helps. Our mattress is still excellent and holding up like brand new (unlike the old which had a dip by two years). Very happy with the TempurPedic AlluraBed!"

"We purchased a split King Allura. Huge gap in the middle, felt like I was falling through a crater. Will go to a regular king hopefully with better results."

"I've been sleeping on this for about four months now. I really wanted the softer Cloud Luxe, but my wife really wanted the Allura. The quality of sleep is amazing, even though it feels too hard for me when I first get in it. My shoulder never is achy in the morning like I had on my previous bed. Since my wife has acid reflux and mild sleep apnea, the adjustable has helped her trmemdously. She loves the comfort when she first gets in, so it goes to show comfort is a preference! There are two things I would change: make the initial feel softer, and make the tailoring on the edge of the pillowtop even with the rest of the bed. With the adjustable, mine has a gap in the middle of over 2 inches. "

"We currently own nothing but TEMPUR-PEDIC, and yes after realizing that we spend 1/3 of our life sleeping; we decided to invest in not just a good mattresses but the best mattresses available, my wife and I currently sleep on the Allura Bed Split King Advanced Ergo Adjustable Base Split 2-pc got them last year in April at Rooms To Go, we have a 5 year old and decided to buy him a mattress after owning this wonderful mattresses. We got a good deal again at Rooms To Go on this Grand Bed and is just as nice if not better, my wife thinks is a little to hard but I love it, is a harder than the Allura but I sleep well on both. Yes I recommended to every body, you may regret spending too much on a BMW or Mercedes but you will never regret spending on these mattresses I promise you. "

"We purchased our bed in November of 2004. I regarded this as the best purchase I ever made. The bed was wonderfull from day one. This past March a fissure in the mattress occured. Even though this occured the bed still slept great, however since I paid such a large amount for the bed I decided to contact the warranty department. They advised me of the procedures for making a claim, and emailed the packet to me. I followed the directions and returned it via email. Of course I assumed this would be a big hassell with me having to talk to multiple people, and fight for repair. Boy was I wrong. Within 7 days I received an email stating they were sorry for the problem, and that a new bed would be sent to me within 7-21 days. Not only that, but my bed was no longer produced, so they upgraded me at no charge to the next bed. ARE U KIDDING ME!!!!!! This company is awesome, and their bed is still the BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE!!!!!! Take it from me, I have had three back surgeries with the last one being a spinal fusion. This will be the BEST money you will ever spend. My name is Kevin Coleman and I love my Tempu-Pedic!!!!!"

"We have had this bed for almost 4 months and LOVE it! I can not sleep flat on my back because of multiple surgeries so this mattress with the advanced ergo adjustable base is wonderful. It was kind of stiff in the beginning, but that last less than a week. I now look forward to going to bed at night. The pillows that came with are Ok, not sure if I want to keep them or look at more of an orthopedic support pillow. Overall we are very happy with our purchase."

"I have Fibromyalgia and sleep was disrupted and painful from current mattress. I had gone to local furniture store to check them out however, wasnt' ready to spend the money. A few months later, I woke one morning in so much pain, I made the right decision to invest. I love it and sleep so much better. I do find it a little stiff and hope it gets softer. Not so sure I love the pillows. Highly recommend this product though!"

"I love, love, love our new Allura bed! We tried the Rhapsody and loved it too but I wanted to get something that was a little softer on the top and still have maximum support in a mattress that could have the Ergo adjustable bases so we upgraded to the Allura. It was comfortable the first night we slept in it and the smell went away within a couple days. I had a severe back injury in 1992 when a horse fell with me and it is really difficult for me to sleep through the night. We had the Select Comfort sleep number bed for the last 7 1/2 years and I have never hated a bed so much! I couldn't sleep in it and would wake up in pain many times in the night and would wake up exhausted and so stiff feeling like I was 100 years old. I have been begging my husband to let us get the Tempurpedic mattress but he felt we had spent alot on the Select Comfort bed and didn't see where it would benefit getting a new bed. I find it easier to get to sleep and only wake up once or twice in the night now, which is a huge improvement. I feel rested when I awake in the morning and do not have the pain and stiffness with the Allura. My husband never could sleep more than 4 - 5 hours is now sleeping better too and admits he really likes this new bed! We have only had the Allura for a couple of weeks but we were sleeping much better on the Rhapsody as well and we had it for a month. I think both of these mattresses are excellent and you could not go wrong with either mattress."

"I never thought a bed would would make such a big difference on how my body felt everyday. Back pain gone,you wake up in the morning feeling rested and ten years younger.I thought I new what a good nights sleep was until we got this bed,and if you get one, you will know to. Nothing like it!"

"Just bought a king. The best sleep I have ever had. Well worth the money would buy again anytime. It is not hot, smell goes away quickly, not to soft and not to firm."

"I LOVE this mattress!!! I had insomnia and knee pain prior to sleeping on this mattress.....I cannot read in bed anymore...don't last 15 minutes once I am in bed.....My husband's snoring used to hinder my sleep......his snoring is minimal now, in other words....I do not hear him...I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone......:)"

"I bought this bed because I had back surgery and severe back pain. I found this bed to be much too firm and does not give enough. It is quite comfortable for the first couple hours and the longer I am in it the more uncomfortable it beoomes to me. The adjustable foundation is very nice and I am going to look at other mattresses that are perhaps softer and give more. "
