Agree: Wonderful bed, awful remote

"I agree with the previous customer rating. We have had our adjustable Tempur-Pedic bed for a year and absolutely love the bed, but the remote needs some serious re-engineering. My remote has been able to remember the 4 locked-in positions, however the "Flat" button stopped working a week after we got the bed, and the " " and "-" controllers often require several tries before they work. The annoying and useless massage function turns on even when one of our 2-lb kittens step on the remote, or my husband just turns over in bed. Bottom line: the bed is wonderful and well worth the annoyance of the poorly designed remote. Perhaps the engineers of the remote should talk with the makers of remote controls for TV's..."

Great bed, Awful remote

"The bed is the best bed you will ever have. The adjustable brings an awesome mattress together with a well-engineered adjustable frame. The remote falls well short. 1) It eats batteries 2) You will have to replace the batteries before you want to because as the batteries die, the remote loses control. It may start moving the bed and not stop when you release the button. It may not move the bed when you depress the button. 3) The wretched massage button should be RECESSED!! A book, a body, an iPhone and even a stuffed animal can set it off. The stupid remote has caused coitus interruptus more than anything collectively in over twenty years of marriage. 4) We have two remotes. One allowed me to program some positions. The second one would never work correctly. I called Tech Support for assistance...twice. The two people who helped were VERY nice but were not technical enough to solve the issue. That's okay. That's first level support. "May I have someone call you back?" "Sure!" And they never called back...TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"This is the top of my list as the "best purchase ever made!" I purchased the queen size, with remote control for/and the "adjustable" base. For over 30 years I have been plagued with Lupus, chronic rheumatoid arthritis, and other serious medical ailments. This bed has helped me to sleep on most nights, when before I would go 3 to 4 days without any significant sleep. Now I am able to adjust my bed with the adjustable bed. I would recommend, most heartily and sincerely, to invest in a great adjustable bed like this. You won't be disappointed. "
