"This is by far the best mattress I have ever owned. Have gone through the range of coil spring, latex and even gave the cloud a try. Moved to Allura and it is awesome. I can't read in bed any longer as soon as I lay down it is so comfortable I fall asleep. Love this mattress."

We love our Allura

"My wife and I were debating on the purchase for over 3 months, finally we pulled the trigger and made the it. One of the best decisions that we made. I sleep better and feel more rested when I wake up as does my wife. My wife's back problems stopped shortly after we received it. You are paying more for this than other mattresses out there but I believe that it is worth it especially for your health."

We orginally bought the cloud supreme.

"Tempurpedic has been very cooperative with several mattress exchanges because of defects. We have a King Allura bed which is relatively comfortable but not up to our expectations. The mattress has a strong odor which smells like dirty wet rags - it is not the usual tempur odor that eventually dissipates. The company refuses to make any more exchanges at this point and has told us to sprinkle the mattress with baking soda ( which has not worked to rid the smell)."

Very pleased with our purchase

"Sounds like sales talk, but since my wife and I purchased this bed we've never slept better. It's like that jacket or pair of shoes that everytime you wear them, you love it just like the first day you bought them. It's very quiet, you don't disturb each other, and there are no pressure points. My wife and I are in our late twenties, so don't think it's just for older folks that require a high-end mattress for health reasons. It's a worthwhile investment."

Pure Perfect!!!

"The Allura is by fair the best Tempurpedic mattress! The HD-Material conforms to the body like fine gains of sand. My lower back is completely supported and I love how my mattress feels! It is not too soft and not too firm! It is expensive, but we spend 1/3 of our life in bed. We deserve to get the best night sleep. I also bought the Rhapsody pillow. It is a perfect addition for me! I literally feel like I am sleeping at a 5-star hotel every night. I conform into my bed and within minutes, I'm asleep. I wake up refreshed and ready to start the day in the morning! I love my Allura bed and cant wait to get to sleep every night! BTW, there was a strong foam odor when I got my bed, but it went away after a couple days. Just leave the sheets off whenever you are not sleeping in it for a couple days and you will be fine. I would recommend this bed to anyone and everyone."

"i bought the celebrity an the cover got loose an had a little bow in the middle they replaced with the allura love it u cant ask for a better mattress. i think they r a top of the line company all the way. mattress is not as smelly as people let on it goes right away thanks don again for great customer service"

Awesome Bed!

"I previously bought the Cloud Luxe king, it was too soft, I was tossing and turning and had a sore back, I exchanged it for the Allura. Wow! It has the right amount of support and that nice conforming soft pillow top feel. My sleep has improved and my back is not sore. Excellent bed, I had a Tempur-Pedic Deluxe king bed which went to the guest room. Thank god for the return policy, I was able to get the right bed. Don't be fooled with the knock off's! We tried a knock off memory foam bed from Costco for our cabin bed, the foam was pushing against us and not conforming. we returned it and purchased the Tempur-pedic. No one can duplicate the technology. I will alway's be a Tempur-Pedic customer for the rest of my life."

"We actually purchased the Celebrity bed....same bed as this one new name from what we can tell. We have never ever slept so good!!! We would definitely buy again and recommend to others. We can't say enough good things about tempurpedic beds and would buy one of these beds for a guest bed over any other type of mattress. Thank you NASA TECHNOLOGY AND TEMPURPEDIC..... I suffer from fibromyalgia and back pain and my husband suffered from chronic back pain. Since sleeping on our tempurpedic we have had very little pain at all and after 3 years we still love it! We now virtually never experience pain and certainly not from sleeping in our bed! Many Thanks again!"

"After reviewing many mattresses there was no doubt that Tempurpedic is the overall best mattress for comfort. I've always preferred a soft mattress while my husband prefers a firm mattress. Even though I liked the cloud series we decided to get the Allura Bed as my husband preferred the firmness. At first I wasn't sure if I would be able to adjust to the firmness but after about 3 weeks I'm so happy with the mattress. My husband loved it from day one. I get into bed and can't keep my eyes open as the mattress cradles me to sleep within minutes. I wake up completely rested with no aches. Anyone who is concerned by the price all I can say is that this mattress is completely worth the price. I'm so glad I researched and read reviews. You cannot go wrong with a Tempurpedic and I HIGHLY recommend the Allura Bed. This mattress is a complete winner! Thank you Tempurpedic!"

"I have been very disappointed in our AlluraBed. It is much firmer than the store sample. We have had it a little over one year and the more I sleep on it, the less I like it. I get a better nights sleep on an older spring mattress we have than this one. Also, the odor is still there - not as strong, but definitely still there. I wish I had returned it within the 90 days."

3 years and still loving it

"I didn't not give it a perfect score because I think a different model might have been better for me but my husband and I couldn't agree on any but this one. Both my husband and I have bad backs and I have a bad neck. This bed helps a ton! I have sleeping issues to begin with, I get very comfy in this bed. I have fallen asleep in one position and woken up after a full night of sleep it seems without having moved. That has never happened before. It did take over a week before we could get sleep well. We thought at first we made a HUGE mistake buying it. But after that we got used to this bed and have loved it ever since. Our biggest issue is the high profile base. Our bed is already pretty high up off the ground. I wish we would have considered a low profile base because we have to take running flying leaps on the bed....or get a step ladder. So take that in to consideration if you have a bed that is already high off the floor. Try each of these beds in the showroom to find the right one for you...."

"I have osteoarthritis in my spine and neck, and I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Before I purchased the Alura Bed, I had really bad back pain while I slept and every morning when I woke up. It's been only three days since I got this bed, and I have NOT experienced any back pain while sleeping nor when I wake up in the morning. This is by far the best investment I have every made. :) I am extremely satisfied, and I highly recommend this bed. "

"We spent about $ 11.000 for two beds with adjustable bases. Based on experiences when trying the mattresses in the store, and also based on the advice of the sales persons, we bought two Allegra's twin x long. We were told we needed to give these mattresses some time to 'soften' and also that one needs to adjust to sleeping on this kind of mattress. So now we used the mattresses for a few weeks and they still are - at least for me - a horrible experience. I dread going to bed in the evening, knowing that I will get into a bed that is too cold, too hard. Every part of my body will start to ache, and the only way to get a few hours sleep is with a (prescription) sleep-aid. Also, when I put the head up to some degree I slide down, which gives a feeing the bed is not big enough. (And yes I have the foot part up a bit too.) All in all very disappointing - and yes there is a 90 day guarantee, but one cannot return the expensive bases, so one can only exchange for another Tempurpedic model. I wonder whether the Cloud DeLuxe would have been a better choice ? I dare not try to exchange because what if that turns out worse than the Allegra ? You can only exchange once, and it costs some 300 bucks. So no, I will not endorse Tempurpedic, it is too expensive and does not give the one thing I expect from a mattress, which is a good night of sleep."

"It's very hard at first, but this mattress feels heavenly for a short period of time, once it's broken in. However I could not use it for side sleeping due to a bad back, it wouldn't keep my hip from sinking excessively. Also, regardless of that aspect, it should be noted that it is VERY hot. You can eventually get somewhat used to it but I would still wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat and burning up far more than could ever happen with any number of blankets and a normal mattress. You can lay down and nearly instantly feel heat building up. I sleep in shorts and my legs would instantly heat up. There is absolutely no logic in this thing costing as much as it does due to the heat aspect. You'd think that if you spend that much you'd get a material that manages heat well, but this bed does not manage it at all. We sold it and got a firm Simmons BeautyRest from Sears costing 1/4 as much and are very happy with it. "

"We happily slept on a Stearns & Foster pillow top for 10 years. When it came time to replace it with a new one we chose the Allura based on reviews, friends recommendations, and feel of the bed in the showroom. We've had it for a month now and are waking up with sore backs and numb limbs. We followed all recommended procedures for airing out the mattress to no avail. If the bedroom door remains closed even for a few hours, the odor will hit you like a wall when you enter the room. We're trying the Cloude Luxe to see if it's better. Summary: Allura is too hard and too stinky!"

"We have had our Allura only one month. However, we still can't wait to get to bed every night!! No smell from day one. Was a bit firmer than the store model, but our sales rep told us this and it already feels softer after one month. No aches and pains when we wake up. Used to have to put a pillow under a knee to get to sleep; no longer. My wife is a nurse and on her feet all day. Her back hurt more when she woke up before. Now she has virtually no pain in the morning and feels refreshed. Highly reccomend trying all the beds out; don't bring the kids, take your time choosing, and you will be satisfied with your investment. $5000 for a bed is heavy, but look at it as a investment in something you do 1/3 of your life!!"

"One word, "Awesome!" My wife and I were looking for a new bed after our move from Florida to California and we decided to spend the money on the AlluraBed with the Advanced Ergo Adjustable Base. If I could I would never leave the bed. I sleep through the night, my back and shoulder for the first time in years do not hurt when I wake up. I feel rested. My wife had a spinal fusion and a revision, this was our third bed in 4 years, her response was, "Finally!" If you were to ask, buy the bed! It will be the greatest sleep you ever have!"

"When we tell people that we gave each other a mattress for our anniversary, they laugh - but it has been the best gift/purchase made in a long time. We purchased the Allura and advanced Ergo system this week and are so happy with it. This is our first memory foam mattress and we couldn't be more pleased. I spent a lot of time comparing the different models and for us, this one was perfect. Great support but with the added softness of the pillow top. The vibration of the Ergo system is very relaxing prior to sleep, and both of us are sleeping better through the night - not tossing and turning or waking up uncomfortable, as we did on our spring mattress. Fresh out of the plastic, the mattress did smell the first few days but after a few days with the windows open, it is not noticeable at all. These mattresses are expensive, but in my opinion, worth it. I love, love this mattress and look forward to going to sleep at night. "

"I use to have the Celebrity Bed which failed 2 times on me so I got the Allura Bed and spent more money to do so in the hopes that it would be the most similar and I found out that it is not at all. It is much to hard to sleep on my hips, shoulders, and kidney hurt in the morning. It might be better to sleep on the floor. Tempurpedic has failed me at this point lets see if they will make it right I would not recommend this bed except to torture someone you don't like. Even the sales rep at the store that sells this bed would not recommend it to anyone very unlucky for me."

"Recieved our Allura King size bed yesterday-I couldn't wait until I could go to bed. We had tried the bed out at Mattress Firm and loved it. When I went to bed last evening I found that it was MUCH firmer than the one in the store. So I walked on it again this morning and will contiue to do so in hopes that it will soften up a bit. I continued to wake up last night- because the bed was firm..however I had NO back or hip pain which usually wakes me up at nigh nor did I feel like I had been run over by a truck when I got out of bed this morning. The "Smell" was not an issue."
