Too soft

"Fell in love with the bed in the store but after 30 days we are picking a new one. The bed feels completely different with the mattress protector and sheets then it does without. It is a soft pillowy bed but for us it was too soft and didn't feel too supportive. We had more aches and pains than with our old mattress. The quality of the bed is not the concern as we are going o pick a different tempuredic model. Went to the mattress store and tried some regular coil beds but after sleeping on this bed for thirty days can't pick a coil bed now as I can't deal with the bouncy feeling. "

Love our Tempur Cloud Luxe

" We decided that evaluating a bed should be longer than just a week or a month of sleep. So my wife and I are happy to announce our 7 month experience of sleeping on a Tempur Cloud Luxe Split King/ Ergo Advanced bed. It was delivered to us on Aug. 9th, 2012. Thanks to Daniel Tolliver at The Bed Store, store manager at Turkey Creek, his patience and personal explanation and demonstration sold us on buying our new bed. We were actually next door purchasing a foam wedge at Bed Bath & Beyond when my wife suggested we visit The Bed Store. I bought the wedge to help me sleep, because of the well that developed on my side of the bed. After visiting the LeSleep, that same day I returned the foam wedge for a full refund. Today, every time I turn or get up out of bed, it automatically readjusts itself to its original shape. We each have our bed settings for reading, watching TV and of course personally adjusted for our nightly sleep. Our Tempur Cloud Luxe offers both of us the most relaxed night of uninterrupted sleep and we often sleep a full eight hours every night together with our dog Wally a Bichon. Sometimes we enjoy this bed so much that we don't want to get up, but one of us has to walk our dog. In the past we would get up early, because of all sorts of aches and pains, not anymore. I often wonder why we waited so long. Now we both look forward to sleeping in our bed, however Wally our dog is already in bed before us. You can tell that he likes it too. "

Simply awesome place to sleep and relax

"Purchaseed a Cloud Lux and we are still boring our friends talking about how we look forward to bedtime. Sleeping better than ever and waking without stiffness, back pain, neck pain, or shoulder pain. Like how we no longer wake each other because movement on one side does not disturbe the other side. It's easy/comfortable to sit up in bed to watch TV etc. Very expensive, but worth the cost to get better sleep."

Mixed bag

"I bought a floor model (1K off and barely slept on). It felt much softer on the showroom floor. What I learned after was that your house temp has alot to do with mattress feel! Apparently the showroom was kept at 70 degrees which is much warmer on average then my house, thus the softer feel there. I find that I get sore as it feels like I bottom out to the firmer layers even being barely 140 lbs. My wife ended up adding a layer of foam on top and now she like the lux. The salesman suggested using a heating pad on low for an hour or so before going to bed. Will try it. May not be necessery in summer, hopefully. "

Love our Tempurpedic mattress

"We have had our Tempurpedic mattress for over a week. We slept good the very first night and on. We bought the king size with two seperate mattresses with our own controls. We love it! Some people complain about the smell. Ours just smells new but nothing serious. So far we love it! "

"TEMPUR-Cloud Luxe & Ergo Advanced Foundation. A bit pricey but worth it. Love this bed. Maybe the best $5,199.00 I've ever spent. Mattress is great and the Adjustable foundation just makes it better! Would never sleep on anything other than a Tempur-pedic again. You get what you pay for and what you get is the best nights sleep ever! So don't hesitate. If you can afford it... do it you won't regret it! Thanks Sleeping great in Mobile Al."

No Support

"LOVED the Cloud Luxe before it was broke in... that lasted three days. I find this bed has absolutely no support. Sore lower back in the mornings. Need to sleep in the guest room after a while to get over the luxe and then can go back to it for a short while. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Too Expensive to not love every night. It broke down really fast. (test it yourself, feel the strength of the sides- there is none ..... so then where is the support... there is none.) The regular Cloud is much more comfortable and much much more durable. Can't go wrong. ( and surprisingly, softer is what I THOUGHT I prefer, FIRMER is what I am happiest with! Live and Learn.)"

Better than perfect

"I shopped Tempurpedic and Sleep Number for about 2 years before making a decision and settling on the Cloud Luxe. I have joint/pain issues at night, fibromyagia and recent shoulder surgery. I hoped that purchasing this bed would minimize my pain, but I didn't expect it to be so immediate. My first night with the bed, I woke up without a sore back and shoulder. I knew immediately that it was well worth the price, I just wished I didn't wait so long! The first few nights, the bed was a little firmer than the floor model and it did have an odor. It's now been one week exactly and the bed has broken in and the smell is almost gone. I noticed a drastic improvement of both by the 3rd night. I wouldn't trade this bed for anything. It's made a huge difference in my life. If you have chronic pain, the Cloud very well could reduce or eliminate it. Love my bed!"

Best bed ever!

"This is my 3rd bed in 10 years and hopefully my last! I had a Sleep Number bed and hated it. It was just a very expensive air mattress. Sleep Number didn't stand by any warranty claims. I really wanted a Tempurpedic Bed for my next bed but was gun shy because of the price. I then bought a Simmons 4000 plush mattress and after 1.5 years it caved on the side. They replaced it and it caved again. I then decided to buy the "bed I really wanted". I laid on all of the Tempurpedic beds with out looking at prices and fell in love with the Tempur-Cloud Luxe! It was a weak (and wise) moment that I bought the bed with the advanced ergo base. Right when I was placing the order for the bed at the store, my mom called and told me to double the order, she wanted one also! Major sticker shock to buy 2 queen tempurpedic cloud-luxe with ergo bases but it was the best investment I have ever made. We have had these beds for 4 months and this has solved all of my sleeping issues which I though would be impossible. We had no "off gassing" smells that others have reported. At first, I thought the bed seemed hard when I first laid on it but then it is like the bed melts around me and conforms to me. I used to toss and turn all night and I now wake up in the same position I went to sleep in. It is soft but has great support. The only negative - they didn't have cloud pillows so I bought a Rhapsody pillow and this pillow is hard. Unfortunately I couldn't return them. So, love the bed, hate the pillow. I hope this bed lasts for 20 years as I love it."

Happy Place

"So I was in the market for a new bed. We moved from a full to a king so the space alone is great, but that is not what makes the bed great. The bed is incredibly soft, but never feels like there is a lack of support. I could go on about how much we love our new bed, but I am sure it has been said a million times alreay. With that said I will tell you about my complaint instead. The bed is impossible to get out of in the morning. After a nights sleep the warm cacoon like comfort this bed provides my snooze button seems to get the brunt of my fist more and more often. So thanks Tempurpedic for making me late to work."

The price of comfort

"I have been thinking about this purchase for eight months. I finally took the plunge and made the decision and it's been night 10 for me. I cannot wait to crawl into bed. This has been anything but disappointing and just as comfortable as I imagined. I'm currently getting acclimated to such a drastic change from my old mattress to my Queen sized Cloud Luxe. I can't complain about anything I've experienced and I just can't stop telling people about my bed. It is squishy-soft and I sink softly into this pillow-feel that hugs me back. I used to take sleeping medication to fall asleep and I used to have terrible back and spinal pain during the day. I had no idea they were both caused by the pain and discomfort of my old mattress (which was a hand-me-down my grandmother purchased herself). Daily I look forward to going back to bed--how sad! In short... my only complaint is the price. My bank nearly broke and I'll be paying this off for a short while. Still worth every penny!"

Wow!

"I was reluctant like most people about spending this much on a bed. After the first night of sleeping on the Luxe i could kick myself for not doing it sooner. I had a back surgery 10 years ago always seemed to wake up on my last four high end named beds that i owned with a aching back. But after the first night on the Luxe my back felt great! I have had the best night sleep every night since my purchase.I highly recommend this mattress. You will not be sorry as i am now a customer for life!"

WIsh I didn't wait so long to buy one!

"I have spent the last decade sleeping on two innerspring mattresses, tossing and turning every 45 minutes or hour due to hip/shoulder pressure point pain and back pain and waking up exhausted and with a sore back. Finally went shopping for a Tempurpedic. I knew the Cloud Luxe was The One the minute I tried it in the store. Yes I spent a wad on it but with a little down payment and the free financing it's completely doable. We've had it for two months now and I've never regreted it. Yes it was a little stinky at first. Opened the window, turned on the ceiling fan the first afternoon, no big deal. The smell diminished each day, within a week it was mostly gone. Just pop a dryer sheet in your pillow case or under your fitted sheet for a few days. And yes, it will be a little firmer the first few nights then what you tried in the store. My back hurt at first because it wasn't used to the support, plus our old mattress sagged so it wasn't used to a flat surface either. One thing I did notice was that right from the very first night I have never again, not once, been awakened by pressure point pain in my hip and shoulder. I sleep for hours at a time now or even all night and I feel so much better in the morning then I have for literally years. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy this bed! I will never own another stupid inner spring mattress again, ever! I marked this 3 stars for value because I do think they could probably do better on the pricing. But even so, I still consider it well worth for many years of getting a pain free good nights sleep."

"We bought this bed because of all the reviews. I was disappointed with my purchase. First of all don't buy a tempur-pedic mattress if you want to sweat all night this mattress is very hot and We do not get a good night sleep being hot all night. I was not informed on that when I purchased it and if I was told that I would not of purchased it. I purchased the split king and the only sheets I can find to fit the extra long twin size are 100.00 a set and are thin as paper. The only part of this mattress set I like is the fact that I bought the adjustable base. A very disappointed customer."

No more Tempur.

"I'm not very picky when it come to sleep, I can sleep any where except this Cloud Lux has a very squeezy feel, it's like being tied up and sinking into a sink hole. I can't move, I can't sit up the way I do with other springy mattress. I woke up with a sore back every night, going to sleep is no more fun, this one is not for me. A 50 bucks mattress would do a lot better than this tanker."

Nice soft feel, not enough support

"Own a tp deluxe king from 2005 medium firm feel, went to guest room. Purchased king tp cloud luxe soft feel, initially the bed feels great as you sink in, but wasn't getting quality sleep and started waking up with a sore lower back. Purchased the bed from mattress firm with a 100 day return policy, we are on day 90. My girlfriend has had no problems due to being a back sleeper, but I am a side sleeper and can't seem to shake the lower back stiffness, we are going to return it and exchange for the tp allure king which has a medium firmness and a pillow top soft feel to it. Hopefully this will take care of the back stiffness and better night sleep! I will always be a tp customer, just have to find the right feel. Thank god for the return policy!"

"Recently purchased this bed from hhgregg in Asheville, NC. After paying about five times more than Id planned on I had very high expectations. I can't put into words how satisfied I am with my Tempur-Cloud Luxe. I am 22-years old, I don't have arthritis, diabetes or chronic back pain, but after sleeping in this bed, I feel more energized all day with less sleep. I no longer experience the occasional lower back, neck and shoulder pain. I don't even snore anymore. Tempurpedic truly makes an amazing product. I also highly recommend making your purchase at hhgregg. excellent customer service, 24 months no interest, and they gave me an LG TV half off with the purchase. If you're considering the Cloud-Luxe, pull the trigger. It'll be the best investment you ever made."

Don't buy the cloud

"I was so excited to buy this mattress and had heard good things from my dad. I went online and bought this mattress and after about 6 months both my husband and I started having back issues and they are getting worse. We saw doctors and chiropractors and all have agreed it was our mattress. We called the company and spoke with someone about our problem, but they said there was nothing they could do for us. All we were asking for, was for a firmer mattress and we were going to pay for it but didn't want to pay for two mattresses. I thought we were dealing with a repritable company that would stand by their products by clearly they do not. I will never buy another product not will I say anything good about this company. My $2500 mattress has costed my another $5000 in chiropractor bills. Thanks tempur-pedic for showing your real colors. I am hoping this saves someone else from making a mistake by supporting this company. "

is it worth $4 k??

"If you can afford $4K for a bed, DO IT!!!!! Its worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY, if your going to spend a couple grand on a bed, don't cheap out, just get this bed, I truly cant describe the feel, its one of those things like driving a FERRARI, you wont be able to truly simulate the experience until it actually becomes a reality, and when it does, it certainly exceeds any set expectations. JUST AMAZING!!! ( plus you have a trial period if your skeptical) :-)"

"Love the comfort and not being able to feel someone get in and out of bed. Does help with back ache, especially when you raise the foot of the bed. Love to tilt the head of the bed to read and watch TV! Pricy! Worth it! Get a little warm, but am getting used to that. Would by again."
