Wishing for Bamboo Non Quilted

"My sheets arrived via UPS with a thud. I was shocked how heavy the package was. My new bed has not yet been delivered, but I washed the sheets in preparation. After 3 hours in the dryer they are still damp. The top sheet is much more like a quilt than a sheet. I'm in California with no need for such a thick sheet, so I am now wishing I had not invested in such a thick sheet. I was so excited about the soft bamboo fabric that I overlooked the weight issue. I hate these sheets.

"I hate these sheets because they are too thick to dry in a household dryer. I have to continually unball them and redry them and then end up setting them our on the guest bed to finish drying. I would never buy these. Your cheapest sheets, however, get 5 stars."

"These are fabulous sheets! I love the quilted top sheet. I don't need a heavy blanket in winter, it is usually enough during a Texas winter. I will say that these sheets will be used only during the colder months, they would be too heavy for a Texas summer. Great quality, soft and luxurious on my TempurPedic mattress."

"I love these sheets! I bought them in the winter, so I haven't tried them in the summer yet, but I don't think they will work in a hot summer climate. The bottom sheets are regular soft sheets, but the top sheet is a quilt. It will keep you comfortable on most nights - not when it's really cold or really hot though. We are using it in the winter with a down comfortor on top of it, and it's perfect. We do like to keep our house cold in the winter. The quilted pillow cases are nice too. They are actual pillow cases and go on like pillow cases, not like shams. On thing that is a slight problem is that I can't wash the set of sheets in one load. The top sheet/quilt fills up the washing machine on its own, and it takes forever to dry in the dryer. Just so you know that you are buying a bottom regular sheet and a top light-weight quilt instead of a sheet, I think you will like this set. I think the quality is excellent. "

"My husband and I just got the sheet set in the other day and we love them so much. I love to be warm at night and my husband likes to be cool. We live in Texas so when he wants the AC on I don't. Anyway we love the sheet set so much. They are perfect for me and my husband. They are soft sheets to, but not to soft. I can tell you that we are going to buy another set and we can't wait till new colors come out too. I would recommend the sheets to everyone I know."

"I have now bought three different sheet sets from Tempurpedic and I would have to say that this is the one that I was the least satisfied with, especially considering the price. They are quite accurate in their description that it is a quilt and a sheet. It is definitely that. But because of that, I found it heavy and bulky. I usually sleep with a sheet, a light blanket and comforter. I thought that this would eliminate the blanket and comforter which is did. But I found it to be much warmer and heavier than the other two combined. Sadly I will not be using these sheets again and they cannot be returned as they have been slept on. (Of course I would not know about the issues with these sheets if I had not.) I would recommend the 420 Egyptian Cotton or even the 310 Pima, both of which I have, before I would ever get these again. If you are living in an extremely cold climate and have no heat, then this just might be the sheet set for you! I live in Seattle, sleep with my window open and an overhead fan going all the time and it was too much for me."
