BUYER BE AWARE--WOULD NOT PURCHASE

"My husband and I purchased TWO $400 Grand Pillows ..NOW.. over 3 months ago. We decided to open one pillow to test and have been greatly disappointed. We contacted Tempur-pedic regarding the unpleasant odor, the heat retention, and overall comfort or lack there of. We were told that the odor would go away after washing the pillow casing but it still lingers. Upon contacting Tempur-pedic customer service recently it was brought to our attention that accessories were non refundable items even though one of the pillows was not ever opened. We were offered to downgrade pillows at the same price($400) but a reasonable solution was not offered by the phone operator. We did not receive a receipt with terms and no where upon purchasing these items on the website was it stated that returns of accessories would not be accepted. We requested to speak with management but at that time were told that the supervisor was busy with another issue and did not take issues directly on call and would be put on a list to have our issue reviewed later. Now several days later we have yet to hear back from anyone and after calling again were told to continue waiting. We expected high quality and for Tempur-pedic to stand behind their product. We are greatly disappointed not only by the product but by the lack of customer care. I would NOT recommend purchasing anything from this company. "

"I bought a Tempur-pedic Grand pillow almost a year ago to replace a Tempur-pedic Symphony pillow. The Grand pillow is a huge step up in comfort; it truly provides a perfect balance between support and "give". Also, I love being able to make small adjustments to the shape, sort of like fluffing up the goose down pillows I used to think were the best pillows available. The Grand pillow is appropriately named! "

"At first I purchased the king size Rhapsody ergonomic bed and 2 standard Rhapsody pillows. After several months the pillows were broken in and flattened out a little bit, not a whole lot but just enough to where we liked it. Then my wife and I realized that we wanted more pillows, bigger ones for body and extra support. So we agreed to try two king size Grand pillows and two body pillows. The two body pillows were perfect for sleeping on our sides with one leg up hugging the body pillow, or great for back support for watching tv. The Grand pillows perfectly lay perpendicular for perfect shoulder, side faced, and back neck resting. At times I hug this pillow while my body pillow rests between my legs. The only way I can describe these additions to our bed is by saying that this is "Truly Heaven." Make no mistake about it, there are no immitations even close to the real thing! I have family members and friends who's curiosity of us having a true temperpedic package bed that after laying or sleeping on it only once can not believe the experience. After feeling, laying and trying the different pillows, they always point out that the Grand pillows are by far very luxuriously comforting. Not to hard, not to soft, a perfect luxury feeling like sitting on a fist class flight versus economy coach if you have ever experienced this difference. To our family, it was worth trying the Grand pillows regardless of price. Yes it may appear to be expensive to some, but you can't put a price on luxurious healthy sleep, you get what you pay for believe me. Thank you Temperpedic and sweet dreams"

"Let me start by saying that the "Grand Pillow" is truly a GRAND Experience to sleep on. My wife and I both experience neck and back problems which is what originally brought us to Tempur-Pedic. We purchased the the Grand Bed, Grand Foundation, frame and two matching Grand Pillows. After the acclaimation period we experienced great relief and the best nights sleep we could remember in our adult lives. Having said this, I must point out that the Grand Pillows while providing excellent support and comfort I DO NOT feel that they provide the durability and longevity that should be delivered with a $400 pillow. After less than 2 years the pillows begin to get "lumpy" and lose that "Grand" feeling. Now Tempur-Pedic did replace our pillows under warranty BUT the replacement pillow are only warranted for the remaining original duration. This meant that we knowingly would have to replace $800 worth of pillows in just a couple of years. Not happy knowing that a "Pillow Allowance" of $400/year would have to be setup. Needless to say the pillows are in fact "Grand" but the are short lived. Recommend finding a cheaper alternative since you will have to replace them every two years. "

"I was livid when my partner bought two of these pillows, the combined cost with shipping and tax is a house payment. However after using the pillow, i am unable to sleep with out it. It is strange how something so simply can become so critical to a good night's rest. I think its because of it's size, no matter how much you turn your still on the pillow. One word of caution though, when traveling by plane place the pillow in your luggage, the airport Nazi's wont let you carry it on the plane. You wont want to travel with out your pillow. "

"This pillow is what dreams are made of. Absolutely elegeant and has the perfect amount of softness/firmness in a pillow than I ever thought possible. It is about 5-8 lbs. and it is quite long. It's not as thick as the comfort pillow, but heavier with the temper material. The outside material has a feel to it that would put an insomniac to sleep. It is worth every penny if you're willing to go all out for comfort. When they bury me in my grave, I want the Grand Pillow in my coffin."

"i got the king size for 400 dollar!! i thought it would be the best pillow on universe but this pillow is the worst pillow i ever had... what a waste of money... guess where this pillow is at?? garage!! -_- i would recommand you people to buy only classic with low profile and side pillow... i tried it at sleep train take my word for it... i give you money back ahaha well don't get this pillow its very big!! you will feel like your sleeping on rock pillow"
