" I got this originally for my husband. But since I enjoyed it so much, I decided to keep this for myself. I worked in front of my computer a lot every day. My back and my bottom used to hurt after a while. Not any more since I started to use this cushion. Gee, it is wonderful that I don't need to worry about my back pain because of sitting for too long. Strongly recommend the seat cushion.

"I purchased this seat cushion shortly after I purchased a Camry in 2006, because the Camry seats are very hard and uncomfortable. I've owned it for 12 years and it has been the most comfortable seat I could find--and I considered several alternatives. It has worn extremely well in the 6 years I've owned it and I am now considering the purchase of a second one to use on my computer chair. And I am considering purchasing the lumbar support pillow because my Camry doesn't have lumbar supports in the front passenger seat. Note to Tempur-Pedic: I agree with another reviewer that it would be more convenient for the lumbar support cushion to have some means of securing it in place--either at home or in a car; also, take out the sleep quality item in the review as one doesn't sleep on the seat cushion; one only sits on it. I've rated it a 0 because one doesn't sleep on it! "

good for big guys too

"So I sit at a desk all day and the seat my job provides doesn't have the greatest cushion. I am 6'2 about 375 pounds and I must say this cushion works wonders. I have had it for a few months now, if you sit correctly the cushion distributes to your weight accordingly. My butt, hips and my back do not hurt anymore even when I work late. People thought I was crazy to buy a $100 seat cushion, but you can't put a price on health and comfort. Plus this is a career investment. At least with the cushion I can move it to any seat rather than buying a $500 dollar chair. If you leave work and your butt hurts like crazy then this is worth it. I feel like I'm sitting on a cloud. I have tried other seat cushions, and honestly nothing compares at all!"

"It seems from reading the reviews that me being 72" tall and 210 pounds my rear end would be large for this cushion? I am not over weight but I think what people are saying that the cushion would be a better item if it was 20" or so??? I'll wait for an updated size or go buy another type pad(:(:"

"The seat cushion is well made and comfortable, but not for a guy who is 6 foot 2 inches and 225 pounds. It is way too small. I should have heeded the other reviewers warnings, but 16 inches by 16 inches sounded big enough. It is not. Tempurpedic needs to also offer a large size that is 20 x 20 or even 22 x 22. And since they have a "no return policy" for personal items, I'll have to make due with it. I would be totally happy if they had a larger version. Oh one more thing, they suggest that it is cool to sit on. Not true. The tempur material does not breath, so you get up from sitting on it feeling like your pants are sticking to your skin."

"It is a cushion so I do not actually sleep on it!. Why is that question a part of this review? Does Tempurpedic actually care? Cushion is also too small for me to be comfortable. Even though I am not a large person the size of the cushion does not fit my backbone and hips comfortably. I have chronic paid and arthiritus in my hips. Also have a rear end that is thinly padded as are a lot of people I see. Especially those with a little accumulated age. Even is tempurpedic had to charge a little more they would actually have more saftisfied customers rather than a lot that buy it just once and then let it set unused. I doubt that tempurpedic reads these or cares as I have seen many in this same vein. I even have an older flat one which is more usable because it is flat. I actually prefer the memory foam one that I have because of large size."

"I recently purchased 2 seat cushions. One for myself and one for my 87 year old mother. We have not had them very long so I can't comment on how they will hold up. So far, we both are very happy with the comfort they provide. My only suggestion would be to make the seat in sizes other than 16". The 16" is fine for my mother but an 18" or 20" would have better for me. If I were to purchase this for my husband I would want a 22". "

"I just received my Temperpedic seat cushion and what a disappointment. This cushion is designed by a very small person and is not large enough for an average size man. The dimensions are several inches short in lenght and width. The thickness is fine but for the average and larger size man this cushion just does not make it. Please redesign.......will return this as soon as possible. "

"I bought it today, so I don't know how long it'll last and I haven't slept with it either. I usually wear 32 x 30 in Men's pants and it's perfect width for me. The cushion feels great and it elevates about two inches. I tried it first in my Toyota Corolla, but it was more of a nuisance to adjust to my increased height of two inches. I intend to use it in lectures and at home and I think it will be nice."

"My husband loves this cushion! We have 5 children and frequent many sporting events with uncomfortable bleachers!. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fabric used to cover the cushion. It hasn't held up well. A carry bag would be nice for it also."

"I bought mine from a local home care store and love it. I go to all-day Bluegrass Festivals and by the end of day my back would be soooo uncomfortable. I'd shift this way and that trying to get relief. My first time at one of these festivals was a world of difference with this cushion. I left happy from hours of wonderful music and feeling so refreshed. It was everything I wanted. I've recommended to friends ever since. Thanks for a great product!!! "

"I bought the seat cushion for my car. I drive a Prius and the seats are not comfortable. I was very disappointed in the size of the cushion. I am 5'8" and weigh 125 lbs and the seat cushion was too small for me. The sides of my thighs and backside hang over the sides a little, which is uncomfortable. I would return it if they would accept returns on these items."

"This cushion is extremely comfortable! I have one in my office chair, one at home, and one for my elderly mother, who takes it everywhere! However, I am terribly disappointed that the current version of this cushion no longer has a carry handle or a grey vinyl backside (for writing the owner's name & phone number in case it is misplaced.) I highly recommend it for comfort. "
