"I don't leave reviews, I read them. However I have to leave one for these. I had a car accident 15 years ago. Back then my doctor recommended this for neck support and to help with my whip lash recovery. I thought it was expensive for a pillow but I was misserable and would try anything. Let me tell you it's the best $ you will spend!!! I can't sleep without it. I travel a lot and miss it. They are a bit heavey to carry in your luggage. I usually roll a towel up and just use that under my neck. But I'm finally going to get the travel size so I can use it on the plane and in hotel room. No more waking up with a stiff neck or head ache when I'm away from home!!!! When you think about how much time you will spend resting your head on it, it should be worth it and it is in every way. I use it for back sleeping and side sleeping. I usually use a regular pillow between or under my knees to get the full spine aligned and wake up without pain! I'll never go back to regular pillows again!"

"I have been using the Small Tempurpedic Neck Pillow for about 5 years now and it has ruined me for any other pillows. I don't get a stiff sore neck or shoulders like I do with other pillows. I'm so thankful there are different sizes as people are different sizes, and the Small size fits me perfectly. I have tried other Tempurpedic pillows like the Side Sleeper (too high but did like it), The Cloud (too high) and the Curve (no neck support). "

"I have owned the large neck pillow for about 7-8 years! TEMPUR holds up like no other memory foam pillow. I will say, when I first got this pillow it took a VERY long time to get used to, like 2 months! Then, I couldn't sleep without it. I wound up buying a 2nd one for a vacation home in FL I had so I could have the same comfort in both places. I do use the pillow a bit oddly, using the small curve 90% of the time under my neck, instead of the large. I also find, over the years, I need to put a thick folded towel under it to give it more height. Another unusual thing is if I'm feeling restless, i'll lay on my side and tilt the pillow towards my face, and it's a whole new comfort. I find this pillow to be very unique, versatile, and long lasting. It can be/feel 'hard', especially if the room is cold, but this is true of any TEMPUR product. Again, give it AMPLE time to get used to it."

"I'm a little torn with this pillow. Sometimes I sleep on it and I feel like my head is being cradled by the hands of God! Other times, it's just truly uncomfortable. I've found it's best when my muscles are sore. Then it's really, really firm and offers such great support. But even so, I can only lay on it for about 45 minutes before it becomes painful. It's very therapeutic during the first 45 minutes. Then when my muscles are back to normal, it just feels so hard and it feels like it's pushing back on me with such force. Also the neck part is really high, I often sleep with it turned around on the lower end. I'm mainly a back and side sleeper and have tried other neck pillows that were just so soft and offered no support whatsoever. This pillow feels too hard at times. I'd highly recommend it for therapeutic reasons, like if your neck and shoulder muscles are sore, but I wouldn't recommend it for a whole night's sleep. Also, a few times when I've fallen asleep on it, I've woken up with my ear(s) hurting because of it pushing back on me. It's like all the nerves in my ear(s) got pinched during the night. Think of this as your mini chiropractor, I have another pillow that I switch too after this one has healed me. It's worth the price, but don't expect it to be your only pillow. "

"I have spent a small fortune on a variety of pillows, over the years. I have TERRIBLE muscle-spasms that feel like I have a "knife stabbing me in the neck!" So when I bought the Tempur-pedic NeckPillow, I was skeptical. After just ONE nite, I was forever SOLD on THIS pillow! Even on days when my neck is stiff & hurts, I can hardly wait to stretch-out & relax on my Tempur-pedic Pillow & Bed because I know I will feel better in the morning!! I have NOT purchased the Travel Size pillow yet, but plan on doing so, as I know I'd NEVER sleep well on ANY other type of pillow. Thanx Tempur-pedic! "

"I have been using one of these for over ten years now and can't/won't go back to anything else. Using a regular pillow caused neck and shoulder issues. I haven't had a single morning with neck or should pain when using one of these. It does take a few nights to "break in" a new pillow. It may feel too firm, but it will soften and react to heat more quickly as you use it. For me, the improvement in sleep is almost immediate, even with a new pillow. The only down-side to these pillows is that once you start using one, you have to take it with you when you travel, as regular pillows just won't cut it anymore. I also have a travel-size pillow that was in my pack everyplace I went in Iraq. I could get a decent night's sleep on a cot as long as I had my pillow. "

"I was excited to get this pillow because I laid on one for a few minutes at a furniture store and it felt great on my neck. I have a really hard time getting my neck comfortable when I sleep. It turned out not to be so comfortable for me. The part that goes under your neck is way too high and felt like it was pinching off my nerves in my neck, so I flipped it around and put the lower hump under my neck and that was a little better, but still not great. Sometimes I wake up okay, and sometimes with a crick in my neck. Guess I'll go back to fighting with a traditional pillow. Hate to since I paid so much money for this one."

"I disagree with Michele, I am a side sleeper and have the pillow for back sleepers and couldn't be happier. It depends on the person. The best investment we ever made was the mattress set and pillows. All our back pains went away and I fall asleep faster than before."

"I would only recommend this to back sleepers. We ordered two neck pillows along with our mattress, I don't know what my husband was thinking because I am a stomach sleeper. This absolutely doesn't work on your stomach, you feel like you are choking yourself. It is also too low for sleeping on your side. Basically if you get this pillow you are stuck sleeping on your back. I only use this when I'm taking a nap and don't mind sleeping on my back for an hour. It is very comfortable it doesn't give you a sore spot on the back of your head and it keeps your neck nice and straight, but if you don't like being stuck on your back don't fool yourself."

"I love this pillow. I also have the tempur-Pedic ergonomic bed. Now that I have the pillow, I can watch TV in bed without my chin squnched up against my neck. Also, I have never slept better than after sleeping with this pillow. I would never want to be without it. It is a must have!"

"I have used the standard-sized Neck pillow for years, and love it so much that I bought the travel size to take with me. I have two herniated discs in my neck and wouldn't be able to sleep with my Neck Pillow. It is truly a lifesaver to have a compact size one to pack in my suitcase. Pricey but worth it!"

"Assuming you don't mind forking over the bucks, these pillows--and that's plural because most of them are simply amazing--will change your life. I use to constantly throw my neck out. One year someone gave me this pillow as a gift and ever since I've been good to go. In fact I've bought several other ones as well. Rarely ever do I get stiff necks, pinched nerves, or any of the god-awful afflictions associated with the neck. I strongly recommend this pillow, especially if you have neck problems. "
