"Last night at 2:00AM, my 70 pound grey hound pee'd on the bed. My mattress protector did not let liquid get thru to the mattress. Thank goodness! I just ordered another mattress protector, so that I have a spare. I purchased my original one over 6 months ago with the bed. It fits fine on my queen mattress and I DON'T notice any noises, slipping sheets or feeling hot, like some of the other reviews. It does seem a bit expensive, but I'm buying another one."

"I see that the reviews on this mattress protector vary greatly, but I am satisfied with the fit, the feel, and the protection we get from this product. It has not been put to any great tests, as we do not have a bed wetter or anything like that, but for the everyday smudges of wetness that occur on a bedding it has been fine. The protector washes up nicely and keeps its shape."

"my mattress cover was purchased with the bed. It lasted 3 years. The dog peed on the mattress two times and it protected. Then the cat got sick and had urine accident on bed. I thought oh god, cat pee, it protected but the area crinkled up and wore through, kind of disintegrating the plastic in that spot, so I threw it out and am looking for another one. Mine fit perfectly, and was comfortable, no weird plastic noises or hot feeling, but after reading the reviews, I am hesitant. I bought a cheap one at kmart, and when I was putting it on the very first time I ripped the corner so I know that is not the solution, throwing that one away today. going to the tempur-pedic store I guess."

"This mattress protector did not meet expectations. It was oversized for our King mattress, the sheets slide off of it and it felt like you were sleeping on a trash bag. It made both my husband and I sweat and very uncomfortable. I would not recommend it."

"Had my mattress and protector for about a year now. Just after getting the bed, my husband had a nosebleed in the middle of the night and sure the sheet/protector were red but it did not go through and ruin the mattress. I wash it on a regular basis and it's held up just fine. I would recommend it to anyone buying a tempurpedic mattress. If you're spending a thousand or more on a mattress, $100 more to protect it, is worth it."

"I bought this protector for my child who wets the bed. It doesn't fit the bed and now the mattress is voided because it leaked completely thru. I've only had it a month."

"This is the most uncomfortable mattress protector. Doesnt fit right and causes my sheets to rinkle and slide. Totally ruins the feel of my wonderfull tempurpedic cloud. Feels like your sleeping on a garbage bag. At first i thought it was my mattress, gave it a couple weeks. Then i realized it was the protector that was preventing me to experience the tempurpedic perfection! My cloud feels 100 times better without it. You can definently find a more COMFORTABLE protector that will protect ur tempurapedic just as well. Dont waste your money on this. I do NOT recommend this to anyone."

"AWFUL. Too big for the mattress, crinkly, slides all over the place. Our sheets won't even stay tucked in bc the protector is all over the place. Completely dislike the topper, however it's made so that it will work with your tempur mattress properly. We really didn't have much of a choice, as we have a 3 year old that sleeps with us sometimes as well as a baby on the way. If you don't expect to stain your mattress or spill food/drink on it, I'd hold off. I would love to remove the protector, but for $3500, we can't afford to take the chance of voiding our warranty. :["

"The other reviewers actually like this mattress protector?? Huh. I don't get it. It is way too crinkly for me to sleep on. In my opinion, it ruins the comfort that I paid $4500 for. I really wanted this thing to live up to the reviews. As of now, my Cloud Luxe is unprotected until I can find something more suitable. Didn't even fit all that well either "

"This is a must have for your tempurpedic. I was worried that it would feel like plastic but it doesn't. The material is so thin you cannot feel it, it blends in nice with the sheets and sleeps cool. I had tried another protector but it didn't work well with the bed. This is the only protector i have seen and I looked at many that will work with this bed."

"You will not be disappointed in this product. It is expensive but well worth the money. Fits well, thin matterial and you can't feel it when you sleep. I would recommend this product to anyone. "

"I found the product true to form but it certainly did not hold up for ten years-two years maybe, I will have to buy another to protect my mattress as that is the most important product-and I do love my tempur pedic."

"Having read the other reviews on the mattress protector, I'm a little disappointed. I have a cat who has seizures and loses control. The urine smell went through the protector into the mattress, so it doesn't work as well as I hoped. She was sleeping on top of the covers, so the moisture went through a thick bedspread, two blankets, two sheets, a regular mattress pad and the tempurpedic mattress protector. We'll see how the odor comes out after washing."

"Overall, it has been great. We bought a Celebrity King about 5 years ago and we're finally at the point where it needs to be replaced. The cover has been through the washer at the rate of about once a week. A couple months ago, the cover on the back side started coming undone, but it wasn't that bad. Ultimately, it lived out its usefulness and now I am going to be purchasing a replacement. It was great while it lasted!"

"We have had this protector for just about three years, it is WONDERFUL! We have the Celebrity Queen Mattress with the cost at $3000.00 you really want to keep moisture from penetrating. This protector has held up extremely well - YES I would recommend this cover to anyone looking to protect their investment. My 3 year old has has plenty accidents but nothing has seeped through. Several upon several washings, we are still protected. I would buy many more of these if the price was not so steep - Waiting for a great sale and maybe my regular mattresses will get the same love/protection. "

"I DEFINITELY recommend this purchase if you have a Tempur-Pedic mattress. It DOES what it says as far as protecting the mattress from liquid/stains. I also wash it in HOT water (as allergy specialists recommend for ALL bed linens) & it works fine!"

"I purchased my mattress protector when I purchased my mattresses and am very glad I did. I have had several spills including a major one on my mattress and the protector worked every time. I've owned it for I think 3 years now. I've washed it numerous times and it has held up fine. I'm actually purchasing another protector to have as a spare for when I'm washing one. "

"The mattress protector is a must-have! I was hesitant to buy it at first b/c of the cost, but now that I have it, its worth the peace of mind! Because I have a toddler, my gut saids that I really need it. At one point, he somehow left an orange ice cream popsicle on the bed (melted) and thank God, the protector works magic and the liquid didn't leak through!!! I follow the manufacture's direction and wash it--believe it or not, the stain came off and it looks a good as new! If you are going to buy these expensive mattress like I did, PLEASE get the protector! Its worth the money and peace of mind!"
